!! If I could leave negative stars, I would. !!

First and foremost: The lack of musical equipment knowledge, is for like of better words - the worst I have ever encountered.

Secondly: The prices are ridiculous, even for local. I tried to give them a shot, even their picks are at 260%+ markup. They act like they cater to locality, however can not even order from Amazon to resell and still make money.

Third: The selection of instruments is ridiculous. They claim “mid to high end”. They clearly have never seen name brand (Fender / Gibson). Because most can be considered “beginner level”. They try to false promote 1 off brands like they are something spectacular, yet meet the quality of something made in China.

Last but not least: The staff is horrible, their beliefs, their actions - it is detrimental to this community.

A great local music shop, with wonderful owners who go out of their way to make sure you get excellent service. They have a nice selection of guitars and other assorted instruments that are reasonably priced. If you're looking for music lessons, be sure to inquire about their private lessons and future group music jams.

This place is amazing! They have teachers, a jamming room you can rent out, and you can actually puck up the instruments to play them...they also sale items as well. The owner Kevin is super nice and we hope to jam out soon one day!!

Folks, I stopped by Moxies Music Center on the courthouse square in Scottsburg, Wednesday. They have the usual stuff like strings, cords, straps, etc. Nice assortment of instruments ranging from ukulele, acoustics, electrics, mandolin, even banjo. Amps from small to big. But what stood out was their eagerness to be helpful to our needs. From teaching of various musical instruments on site, working with the local community to bring more music/fun to the area. Hats off to Kevin, Cindy, and Stephen on their upcoming first year anniversary of their business. BTW Kevin is a killer keyboardist, stop in and let him melt your faces with "Jump" "Saturday in the park" to name a few. ?

Great place to come and learn the owners are very friendly and great people to work with lessons are fun and very relaxed and easy to learn from the teachers they make it fun to learn I have learned more vocal power and vocal control from the teacher of this business verses other places I have gone to for lessons moxie is very well rounded in all genres of music .
