When my son was just 4 years old, we decided to enroll him in Jiu Jitsu classes. Initially, we took him to another academy for a free introductory session. Unfortunately, the instructors there told us that our son was not gifted in Jiu Jitsu and that he wasn't mature enough to follow the rules and understand the dynamics of the sport. Hearing that was very disappointing for us, especially since our son has level 1 autism and struggles with concentration.

Though we almost gave up, we were encouraged to try Morselli Academy. From our very first contact, we felt welcomed and well-treated. Antonio learned a great deal in the classes and experienced significant growth. I highly recommend Morselli Jiu Jitsu Academy; it’s a fantastic place with amazing instructors and wonderful friends.

Over the summer, I was invited to join the women's group at Morselli Jiu Jitsu Academy. At the time, I had no experience with BJJ and didn’t know what to expect. After the first class, I was hooked. The first thing I noticed was how welcoming the community was, which made starting something new less scary and more exciting. The women’s class was a great way to introduce myself to the sport, and after joining the regular classes, I found them just as inviting! No matter what your personal goals are, the coaches are supportive and meet you where you’re at along your BJJ journey. I’m so grateful for the community and all the people I’ve met on the mat!

If your kids are ready to compete, you will greatly appreciate what BTT and Professor Jair Morselli offers them. If they are not ready but want to be, then you found the right place. We spent a few hours today with some like minded people/kids who are also slated competitors for Pan Kids 2024. Quality instruction. Technical. Age appropriate. Fantastic student to coach ratio. My son took Gold in at Pan Kids in 2023 and not by accident… H III still undefeated in 4 IBJJF tournaments (and over 20 consecutive tournament matches over the last year, many outside IBJJF) so we know a little bit about what a fighting dojo looks like. You will not be disappointed.

Btt Taunton is a great gym, The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels. The classes are well-structured, and I appreciate the focus on technique and practical application. , the community here is amazing everyone is friendly and eager to help each other improve. Our twin boys recently started going to BTT after having previously attended two other jiu-jitsu schools, and the difference has been measurable. I started training at Brazilian Top Team Taunton roughly five months ago. From the first day, everyone was extremely welcoming. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. The other students are equally so, thanks to the atmosphere the gym encourages.

Whether you’re looking for a workout, discipline, to compete or for a self-defense strategy, you’ll find the path to what you’re seeking at BTT Taunton with Jair Morselli and his team. There are classes for all ages and abilities, so anyone can come check it out and see if it’s right for themselves and/or their families. I really can’t recommend this gym and this sport enough.

My girls have been training in jiujitsu for almost 2 years and as we travel a lot, so we were looking for some classes in the area for a couple of weeks. We found BTT Taunton through some recommendations and we were not disappointed! This is a very competitive gym- people travel from all over the area to train here. Jair Morselli and the other professors were phenomenal- the athletes have amazing technique and were very welcoming- overall we were very grateful to have found this gym on our travels! 10/10- highly recommend 🙂

I started training at BTT about a month ago. I started with the women's only class that they have on Sunday's and absolutely fell in love with the sport. The ladies were all so friendly and made you feel very welcome. I ended up signing up for a membership after a few weeks and have not regretted it at all! Everyone at BTT is so kind, welcoming, and supportive. The coaches are knowledgeable and patient and truly want to see you succeed. I recommend this gym and this sport to anyone who is willing!
