Morris Music Academy is amazing!!!! Our two sons have taken piano lessons from Tracy Morris since 2019. He has a beautiful studio and incredible instructors!! Tracy has followed my sons helping them with their piano and has also taken the time to encourage them in their academics and sports. His ability to relate to my children and offer guidance has been integral to their success as young boys navigating boy life!!

Cheryl is an awesome piano instructor and has started working with the boys too! She can adapt the lessons to keep the boys engaged and excited about learning. She keeps the lessons fun, energized, and upbeat.

We are a military family and I truly think Tracy’s academy has been a part of the boys’ success while we’ve lived here. We will need to move soon but Morris Music Academy was a part of our village while in Jacksonville. We are so grateful for Morris Music Academy!

I absolutely love it at Morris Music Academy! I am a saxophonist and Tracy has helped me improve my skills greatly. He is willing to help me with all of my music endeavors including assisting my trio and quartet rehearsals alongside my individual lesson times. Great one on one instruction and connections with people in the music field. Lessons are tailored to student interest and very communicative. The staff are all friendly and personable. Highly recommend taking lessons here! Overall a great atmosphere.

An Amazing Music School!!! My son was a vocal student at Morris Music Academy for years. His voice coaches took him from raw talent to vocal musician with a four octave range. MMA even gave him the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall which was a once in a lifetime experience. I HIGHLY recommend this music school.

My daughter has been going for voice lessons from Lemar here and she loves it. Lemar is so professional and positively motivating for her and in his approach to teaching. My daughter was very shy and somewhat recluse and now she's an amazing wall flower thanks to the training she's had by this fine academy. I also have her in guitar here as well and both Taylor and Johnathon are just the most talented and patient musicians ever.. For the first time ever I am taking her to an activity she's not throwing a fit about doing. If you have an opportunity to get in on the roster take it while you can, the slots fill up fast for all the talented and award winning staff at this academy.

The teachers there are absolutely fantastic, and I've learned more about music and jazz in my few months with Mr. Morris than any teacher prior in my musical career. He has helped me with my future in immeasurable ways in that I would not have gotten into the colleges I applied to without his guidance and assistance. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to Mr. Morris and his staff for everything they've given me. Not only does he have an astonishing amount of connections in the music field, but lessons are very specific to an individuals needs and are immensely helpful. I would 110% recommend taking lessons (especially jazz sax!!) here!

We met Mr. Morris from our elementary school days at Jacksonville Beach Elementary. My 3 children were all students of his at one point or another. After a job moved us away from our hometown and up to South Carolina, we thought we would have to part ways forever. Thank goodness for modern technology! My daughter is able to keep her beloved music teacher and continue her music education via Skype! We are so grateful to Mr. Morris and the staff at Morris Music Academy for always making us feel like a part of the family even though a few states separates us.

Not only is every instructor here an amazingly talented musician, but they are all excellent teachers too. The students (including myself) move at their own pace and the instructors inspire incredible levels of confidence in the students. I came here to learn a piano piece for my talent for a pageant, and they definitely inspired me to stay and continue to grow my piano skill!

The Morris Music Academy is truly one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have been taking lessons for going on 5 years now, with Lamar, one of the vocal instructors, and I still look forward to my lesson every week. Not only is Lamar a gifted musician, but also he is a phenomenal teacher. Since I started taking lessons I have seen my range improve almost an entire octave, solely based off of the techniques I have learned. With MMA's frequent showcases I have gotten over a debilitating stage fright and in general, have improved as a performer. While the education at MMA is truly second to none, what makes it worthy of 5 stars is the personal touch. Both Lamar and Tracy are deeply caring individuals who want nothing but the best for their students. I have known Tracy almost my whole life, he was my elementary school music teacher, and when I found out he was opening a music studio, I was the first one to sign up. He is an extraordinary person-- someone who has been there for me in more ways than one. Both Lamar and Tracy were some of the first people I went to when I found out I got into my dream college (Thanks to both of their help by the way, for helping me send in vocal supplements with my application). I can only give you my personal testimony- that MMA is the best there is, and it will forever hold a place in my heart.
