Great experience. I took a pottery class there, and I was glad I did. A reasonable price for what is offered (50 to learn how to make a bowl, go back and glaze it with color, then have them fire it for finish). The owner/teacher is knowledgeable and helpful and makes you feel comfortable doing it right or wrong and is there to help.
I'd definitely go back and would recommend stopping in to see what they offer. You can pick pieces to paint also. Very inviting.
This is my first ever piece, so the teacher must be good, lol ?

I am so happy I got introduced to this place because it is so relaxing and just so much fun. I ended up going back two days after with a friend of mine because I enjoyed it so much and wanted to show them. You get to pick out one of the many many figures, planters, or ornaments and then paint them however you want. After a week, they put it in the kiln and you can go pick it up. It hasn't even been a week since I've been, I'm so excited to get it and will update my review more when I do. But I just had to write a review because I love this place so much and plan on going back fairly regularly.

Moon Stone Pottery & Elementals is a must visit place in Auburn/Lewiston. Be prepared to stay awhile painting a bisque pottery piece. I love that I can drop in anytime they are open and paint. Prices are all inclusive. You pick and pay for your piece. They supply the paint, brushes and kiln fire your piece. It is ready to pick up in about a week.
Painting ceramics is great way to spend time with family and friends. I recently held my Mom's 75th Birthday in their party room. Fun was had by all who attended!

My granddaughter and I loved our experience at Moon Stone! You simply walk in, choose something to paint(they have all kinds, sizes of pottery ) choose paint colors…(paints were #, easy to get to, and washes out with soap and water) Sit down and paint to great music, great people and the sweet puppy who is part of the “team” Wonderful experience! I definitely will go again.
