We did a mini session with Jess for Christmas and it was seriously the best experience! My littlest was very unsure of the entire situation but she still got amazing pictures of him. Comfortable, engaging, and extremely professional. Jess has a gift, simple as that! When you are a family of 5, there's ALWAYS someone not looking yet she was able to get the 6 month old, looking and smiling, along with the other two kids. She pays attention to detail - making sure collars are folded, arms/hands are naturally placed, and angles of heads and feet are best positioned. She is the best and would strongly recommend her!

My family was recommended Monroe & Co from a number of people, so we were thrilled when we found out that she not only could get us in on the day we needed, but had room in her studio for our group of 19. This was far and away the smoothest photo shoot I’ve seen. Jess managed to get multiple photos of the entire group on numerous backgrounds in various positions, but also single family and individual photos (roughly 30 different groupings) all done in under an hour. Jess is amazing. She has everything moving smoothly, kept the young ones engaged and the grown ups laughing. Jess helped make what could have been a very stressful photo shoot easy and fun and helped us capture some amazing memories. We are so glad we picked Monroe & Co!

Jess is THE best!! We first worked with her back in 2017 for our engagement photos, and now she's been with us through an engagement, wedding, baby announcement and our first family pics. We don't even live in Iowa anymore, but we always go back to Jess because the service & quality are second to none. The fact that she can get a dog & baby to smile in the same picture should tell you just how great she is 🙂 We love her!!!

While my experience with Jess was many, many years ago, I have to say that that experience has made me wish I lived closer to have her do all my photos! Jess was kind and caring, and even though at the time she was still building her business, she was more professional than any professional I have worked with. Even this many hears later I still recommend her!
