Michigan Rock School has been one of the best decisions we have made for our son.
The private lesson is always geared to his music taste and skill level to keep his interests and improve his skills. The band practice has helped him grow as well as "find his people". Kids with similar interests, Music. And the live performances are amazing to see! So much talent in this school.
We have watched him gain confidence, build social skills and make friendships. He has become a fantastic guitar player as well! You Can't go wrong with MRS!

MRS has an informal approach to learning music that instills a lifelong love of music in its students. It starts with their excellent music teachers. Our kid absolutely loves learning guitar from coach Tony (super awesome!). She was so nervous to start… now she has performed at 2 shows and picked up voice with Rory (another superstar coach). 10/10.

My 11 year old daughter started at Michigan Rock school about 5 months ago and has loved every minute since her first lesson! John and all the instructors are amazing, and the environment there is fun, welcoming and supportive. We have loved watching her love for music grow!

John and the team at Michigan Rock School are the absolute best. After trying baseball, basketball, and karate we walked into MRS hoping to find something that my son would enjoy and thrive in. We found that and more. He started out on drums and with a fews months joined a rock band. The rock band program is truely what seperates MRS from it's competitors. Six years and so many rock shows later we are still loving the program. My son is now singing in his current band and loving his voice lessons with Mia. I could not recommend MRS enough.

Our son started playing bass in June and was performing on stage at his first rock concert 6 months later. All the instructors have been great. Professional, positive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The experience you get at Michigan Rock School is top notch. John and his team create a positive and supportive environment to allow kids to express themselves through music. My kids have attended this school for almost 6 years. The concerts are so much fun! Highly recommend!!

I can't say enough great things about Michigan Rock School! My son's love of music and guitar has grown so much and I credit this program. I would give a special shout out to Tony! Tony is a fantastic motivator and instructor. The band program really sets MRS apart from other lesson providers, the opportunity to perform in a band and make music with peers has been a game changer. We love it! Highly recommend.
