I am updating my older review as it has been a few years. My 16 year-old daughter has been in the Boston studio intensive program for about 6-7 years and she still loves it. They challenge their dancers in the best way and my daughter has grown immensely as both a dancer and a person. The program includes ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, hip hop, jazz, acrobatics. They are developing well rounded, serious dancers. The performances are soooo beautifully done and the kids love dancing in them. My daughter also loves the teachers and has made great friends. Amazing community. Cannot say enough good things about this studio.

We love Mass Motion. My teen daughter and 9yo son dance there. My daughter has been there since she was 2 and now dances in the intensive program. They both love the teachers and the care, thoughtfulness they provide for their dance life.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My daughter has danced here for 9 years. She absolutely loves Mass Motion and has developed into a talented and strong dancer because of this studio. She also has a group of amazing friends at dance; it's a huge part of her life and what she most looks forward to doing. Dedicated staff, skilled teachers, incredible year-end recital, fun outings together... I can't ask for more from a studio!

Our daughter has been dancing at Mass Motion for four years and she loves it. The teachers are amazing and the studio is truly a community. The recitals are incredible and the kids (and parents) look forward to them all year! They have all levels of dance, from recreational to intensive, and all forms of dance. Mass motion Boston is the best dance studio around! My daughter started at age 4 taking a class once a week for 1.5 hrs that included jazz/ballet/tap .This combination approach allows young girls to fall in love with dance as they get exposed to different forms of dance . Now my daughter dances intensively at Mass Motion and she loves it ; not only has dance become a passion for her but Mass Motion has become her second family away from home . No other dance studio provides such a great community feel while fostering a love for dance ! Finally , the recitals are AMAZING!!!

Mass Motion is more than a studio. It's really a wonderful community of dancers and their families. The owners, managers and teachers are incredibly dedicated and talented -- and my daughter (now in the Intensive Program but started out at 6 in a child hip hop class) has become such a strong, well-rounded and passionate dancer under their wing. The end of year show and their Nutcracker holiday performance are really special events.

Just wrapped up another year at Mass Motion Dance Boston, and am reminded, as always, why my high school and middle school daughters have called Mass Motion their dance home since they were 5. The quality and taste of the production, dedication of the faculty, and strength of the community are showcased at the recital, but present in every class. The faculty manage to maintain a strong focus on technique and still give the kids room to be who they are without an over abundance of rules. They provide the right mix of freedom, support, and rigor to foster a love of dance! And with so many types of dance offered -- tap, ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and Irish Step -- every child can find something up love.

We love Mass Motion Dance! I have three kids that take dance classes at Mass Motion in Medfield and they all love it. The people here are fantastic. I can't say enough great things about this place.
