We came here for a summer camp, which led to another camp right after. My now 11 year old started MLP at 10, she has horrible anxiety daily, and the teachers here made her shine! She never whines about going, and I can’t be more appreciative of Ms, Brianna!!! I recommended Making Light Productions 1000%!!!! Every child is welcomed with open arms.

We are very thankful for Making Light Productions. All the staff at Making lights have been so supportive and have helped our son grow so much in the last years, but this year has been one of his best. All of his teachers this year have challenged him, have been supportive, and have helped him to grow more. Making Light Productions is the place where our son fell in love with the performing arts! It is such a warm, welcoming, comfortable place for kids to learn & grow - it is a truly wonderful community of people, from the students, to the staff, to the parents & families. ive grown so much as a performer and person at making light over the past few years. i would love to thank briana lightbourn and cameron garrett for always doing such an amazing job putting together the MT4 shows! last semester i was in shrek jr. and it was an awesome experience and this semester im in addams family and they are always on top of their game and so encouraging! happy teacher appreciation week! 🎉

My child has taken both ukulele/voice and guitar lessons at MLP and I've been pleased! The instructors are professional, knowledgeable and warm. It's a great performing arts home, where everyone I've met so far seems to feel empowered and encouraged in their creative pursuits.

My oldest has attended Making Light for almost 4 years. We initially enrolled her in theater to improve her confidence when speaking in public. She has a speech impediment, and her father and I started noticing that our spirited, fun loving child was starting to close herself off to people, embarrassed that she didn’t sound like everyone else. Four years later, our now pre-teen is singing in public, constantly raising her hand in class, and isn’t afraid to let her voice be heard. Her confidence has grown so that it’s hard to believe that our daughter ever had a problem with her speech at all!

Theater teaches you many useful skills that stay with you long into adulthood, such as being comfortable in your own skin, effectively communicating, creative thinking, impromptu problem solving, etc. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this amazing school and we highly recommend Making Light to any parent looking to bring out the best in their child.

Making Light is not just a place for my daughter to attend classes in singing and acting. The instructors, students and parents are a support group and when you walk through the door you know that you have entered a place that is full of encouragement, love and talent where each child is encouraged to be their best.
