I've been bringing my car here for the last 5/6 years and Long Life Auto is the best!!!

They're always extremely nice and friendly. They always call you back to let you know what's wrong and give you a price estimate; before fixing it and charging you more $. Mike the owner is the nicest guy too. He's always reasonable with pricing and repair costs.

The only downside is they're so popular and busy, that you might have to wait a little bit to get an appointment. That being said, they're without a doubt the best auto shop in the area!

I have a 40 minute commute to work on the Mass Pike and through a maze of tunnels under Boston. My 2008 Mercury Milan suddenly developed extremely soft brakes, and I felt there was no way I could safely drive the car to work. I called Long Life and Lauren recognized the urgency of having this repaired and was able to fit me into the shop schedule the next morning. The shop owner Mike identified the problem as malfunctioning rear brake calipers, and within a few hours had them replaced (with complementary brake pads). Braking has never felt more secure, and I’m so grateful for the entire Long Life crew.

After reading the great reviews of this place I was looking forward to finally finding a reliable & good auto repair shop to bring my car to.
However, it was upsetting and overwhelming my experience with Long Life Auto Repair.

I dropped off my car at 9 am as I scheduled an appointment 3 days prior. The place closes at 6 pm and by 5 pm no one has called me back yet. After waiting for an entire day, at 5:10 pm I decided to give a call but no one was answering.
I did at least 10 calls to the shop and no one took the phone, so I decided to walk to the repair shop to check what was happening.
I arrived at 5:40 pm and OH SURPRISE! They didn’t even work with my car, they told me that they’re not well-equipped to work with TPMS System issues!!!
No one at the time while I was scheduling the appointment or the day I dropped off the car had the courtesy to tell me this!!! Not even after explaining the issue of my car at least three times over the phone and in person!

I requested time off at work for nothing.

PLEASE make sure to address what you want to have done before even trusting your car to them.
Truly not a good experience, they’re indeed nice people but their actions were not professional.

Mike the owner has many times come to the parking lot, crawled under my car with flashlight and driven it around the block whenever I have had a problem and stopped by. I used another shop, when I broke down on a Saturday, who put in bad parts and Mike diagnosed it free and advised I bring it back to the shop that did the work.

Long Life is trustworthy. Gives you printouts of all work and parts and serviced my Honda like professionals.

Long Life Auto Repair took great care of my car! I went in for a routine service and to assess a clunk/creak noise my car had started making when going over speedbumps and potholes. Long Life Auto was able to accurately diagnose the issue as loose sway bar links and replace them the next day. Mike went above and beyond to explain the cause of the issue to me in a manner that an auto layperson would understand.

I was nervous going to get work done on my car because as a young woman, I've heard that some mechanics may attempt to charge higher rates or recommend premature/unnecessary repairs to me. However, this was not my experience with Long Life auto at all. They were transparent, thorough, and priced very fairly. I will be going back to them for any future services and repairs!

I had a bumper problem. It was hanging off the back of my car. Not only did they manage to put it back on, when I thought it was unsalvageable, but they ordered, painted, and replaced my bumper in a little over a week. It cost me about $1000, all told. Their work is great, quick, and cost effective.
