Lincoln Auto is genuinely the best car shop I have ever been to! The staff are kind, trustworthy (they will tell you when maintenance is unnecessary), open to answering any questions about services/prices (which are always reasonable), and efficient. I live 40 minutes away, but always opt for Lincoln due to the quality of service and staff. I cannot recommend Lincoln Auto enough for any motor vehicle needs (from inspection, to oil changes, patching a hole in my tire, to gas, to larger maintenance - they do it all and they do it well)!

This shop was amazing - we needed a tow there around closing time, they are open late which was just what we needed at the time. They also serviced our car in no time (next day last minute) for a great rate. Can’t recommend this shop enough after being ripped off for much less at other places. I’d drive here from boston to get things done on my car

My son encouraged me to bring my car here after dealer recommended maintenance costing over $2K. Not only did Lincoln Auto assure me that the recommended maintenance was not yet needed, they declined my offer to pay them for their time checking out my brakes and spark plugs. They are honest and not greedy!

I needed some tires changed. Author is the main mechanic and he took the car right in and fixed me up at a reasonable price that included tire disposal.
Please understand that you typically need an appointment, I got him at a point where he could help. The real point is, he took the time to help instead of 'make an appointment" with attitude like other places.

I am a travel nurse all the way from Florida. My pump for my brake system went out on Friday late afternoon. Nikolai was able to fit me in their schedule and repair this on Saturday! With me being 20 hours from home and in a strange place, this was outstanding service. I highly recommend.

Danny the owner, Alen the technician, and Arthur the head mechanic have taken such good care of me over the years that I completely trust them.

They are kind, conscientious, and show me what I need and WHY I need it. This is the first time I feel like I am taking my car to a trusted family member to service and repair.

Well I don't want to say I am cheap but I am definitely frugal. I drive a 97 civic (they just never die) and if you have ever owned an old car, you know that your mechanic has the same importance in your life as your best friend, your mother, and your significant other. Perhaps more.

So imagine my distress when "my guy" of 15 plus years decided to change careers, leaving me bereft. I spent several month in mechanic limbo . . . paying way too high prices . . .and as I was bemoaning my fate, a friend overheard me and turned me on to Lincoln Gas & Auto.

I know, I know, Lincoln, must be pricey you say. Not so. The first two times I went in they gave me a free fuse. Simple I know, but very impressive. And today they fixed my emergency brake (which I had already paid one of the rebound guys mentioned above to do as part of whole brake job-- ugh) and they did a bunch of little free extras to allow me to pass inspection.

It's hard to explain but I just get a good feel from them. My kind of place. Just a couple of guys.

I also know that Lincoln may sound far away, but it's just 4 miles out Rt117. And bear in mind this place is smack dab in the middle of Lincoln conservation land. It's half a mile from Codman Farms, less than a mile from the T in center of Lincoln, and two and a half miles to Walden Pond. Bring your bike, make day of it, will do you good 🙂 And I assume that if you ask they will let you chat with the chickens that live out back. Like I said, my kind of place.
