My husband and I took 7 private dance lessons with Leon to prepare for our first dance at our wedding, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience!! Leon was incredibly professional and easy to work with. He choreographed a dance for us that felt fun and effortless, while still being a total showstopper. He was patient with us, he laughed with us, and he managed to turn us into pretty decent dancers! His studio is spacious, clean, easily accessible from the Pike, and has ample parking. He offers flexible evening hours, and we never had trouble finding a time for our next lesson. If you're on the fence about paying for private dance lessons - GO FOR IT! You will not regret working with Leon. Learning our dance was by far the most fun we had during wedding planning, and we acquired a new skill in the process. Our wedding guests were so impressed with our dance. I will never forget the cheers from the crowd throughout our performance! We even got a standing ovation 🙂 thank you Leon for being a part of our special day!!

I have been taking lessons with Leon for the past several years and I have been very impressed with his approach to teaching. His classes are relaxed and fun but at the same time are very focused and demanding. He always provides the structure of a set of steps for the particular dance he's teaching, but his focus is on technique and the proper form for doing each component of the dance. I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Leon and look forward to taking many more in the future. I highly recommend Leon for anyone looking to learn or to improve his or her ballroom dancing.

My fiancé and I took some private lessons with Leon to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. I was really nervous about the dance and didn’t want something that looked too stiff and overly choreographed. Leon helped us come up with something that looked really natural and effortless. We saw other couples before/after our appointment time so we know he literally can work with any song/style. He was amazing to work with- so patient and kind! He has very good availability in terms of evening times and he was always flexible if we had to switch stuff around. It took us 7 classes but we probably could have gotten away with only 5 or 6. We both really loved working with Leon! Our first dance came out perfectly. We both highly recommend him! Thanks Leon for making our first dance exactly what we hoped for!!

Leon and his staff are fantastic. My wife and I had signed up for Leon's wedding dance course package.

The classes were one on one with the same instructor, Amber, and really customized for us. Scheduling for our classes was always flexible and the instructors helped us make a plan to be ready in time for our wedding. We gave her a song and created a choreography that worked perfectly with the song and showcased our personalities.

On the day of our wedding all of our classes paid off. Our first dance went without a hitch.

I have been taking both salsa and swing classes at Leon's Dance Center for the past two years. I am extremely happy with the quality and professionalism of the class. Leon takes the time to break down each step so that all the students have the time to understand and practice it. I have taken the same salsa course several times because Leon always keeps it interesting and teaches new steps. I started as a beginner, but after taking the course several times I really feel as though I have learned many different steps and can dance socially with confidence. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend these classes to both beginner and experienced dancers!

Leon is amazing! I saw that someone left a negative review, and I have to say, it sounds nothing like the Leon I have learned from for years. From the beginning, Leon's instruction has been upbeat, fun, and helpful. He makes it easy to laugh at yourself when you make mistakes, and takes his time dancing with each person in the group. I have learned more (and retained more) from Leon than from a year of college dance lessons. The other people in the group classes are always friendly, and his dance socials are filled with people of varying levels, so you get to try new things! I highly recommend him!
