The instructors have been nothing but amazing. But we had a run in with the owner. We recently enrolled our daughter in the tiny 2's dance class. We were in week 5 of 6, and the owner came down and was very rude and very off putting. She must have been having a bad day. She asked if we have tried going behind the one way mirror yet and we all said no. She said well its our policy, so lets try that and asked if we all got her email. We said no, then said again, well this is our policy. It would have been very different if she was not rude when she approached us. In the past classes, no one had mentioned we needed to be behind the mirror. Its a beginning dance class with toddlers, with 5 people in it. The kids may need some help or reassurance from the parents, and again, no one has asked us to leave the room until the owner did very rudely. We all complied with her request as she shot back upstairs after bring rude. There are lots of dance schools and we will give our money elsewhere going forward. I think she was just having a bad day, but we are the ones paying your bills. Be polite and courteous. Again, it was all about how she approached us and came across, I'm sure this is a good place. But she was very rude and should have handled it better, its not our fault you were having a bad day.

We've been here for 3 years and we LOVE Leigh's!! All of the staff are fantastic! The kids learn so much and have a blast doing it. They always offer classes and camps for them to expand their skills and play with friends. The staff is wonderful at meeting each dancer where they are and helping them improve from there. Anytime we've had a dispute or.question about billing, they've always resolved it.quickly. They're also very easy to get in touch with. They respond very quickly to email, text, call, etc. Just an amazing place!

ETA: Adjusting my star rating and review thanks to Leigh's super quick and extremely empathetic response to my concerns.

I've had good experiences with the staff and instructors here -- they all seem very nice and professional and fun. I will say an FYI for those parents looking at Leigh's 6-week recreational dance courses that these are folded into ongoing recital dance classes. If you have an overly anxious child who is brand-new to dance like mine, it might be beneficial to mentally prepare them for that ahead of time or aim for summer classes when all the classes start fresh.

This place has a special place in my heart. The leighs classes are so much fun, although they offer competitive teams if you are looking for that as well. My daughter has been going here for 5 years and has grown so much as a dance and performer. Going to adult tap is always a highlight of my week too! Ms. Nyree is the best!!!

My four year old tried a total toddler tumbling class weeks after turning two ( at that time she was mostly nonverbal and only said four things, she could absolutely communicate much more than that but not in speech so that being said we figured it would be a little rough but the place we went was very disorganized which bummed me out quite a bit because she absolutely loved all of it and she loves to sing and dance ? after some tedious research I talked with Leigh's and they are absolutely amazing ? she told me we were welcome to come up which I got a class and we did that last week and after about 15 she was being officially enrolled!! He had her first class today and she had an absolute blast again she absolutely adores her dance instructor and I love the little girl she gets to dance with!!! From the very very sweet woman whom you meet coming in the door to every other person I have met in that studio,they are all very welcoming and very kind!! My mini can be quite shy but she feels right at home ? also extremely reasonable priced ?

Leigh's School of Dance is absolutely the BEST! I am so thankful we found this dance school. My kids have been dancing here since they were 2 years old & we look forward to going to class every week. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Leigh's is. Miss Nyree, Miss Connor, all teachers, & student helpers are all fantastic. Not only are they incredibly talented & skilled dancers/instructors in all types of dance; but they invest in our kids. The teachers encourage values like teamwork, kindness, family, respect, community, determination-I could go on & on! They appreciate all kids for who they are, encourage their best, & celebrate them. It is also such a fun environment! We love it here. Leigh's School of Dance feels like family. If you are looking for a dance school-look no further! Leigh's is where it's at.
