My daughter was nurtured and challenegd attending Charter Arts. Where there problems? Yes, of course, it's high school. It's brimming with teenagers, hormones, energy, creativity, and opinions. As is any good educational environment.
The fit was amazing for our child, and the proof is that she drove 50 min each way for 4 years. She is graduating in a month, got into a top school, her frist choice, and is emerging as a 1st year college level musican. No school will be perfect, there will always be kids, staff, or something to derail you if you let it. But if you lead with kindness, do your work, show interest? It's an open door of possibilities. Went to see the Latin Music Ensemble and the Black Excellence shows and both were spectacular. The best shows I've been to here out of all the ones they've hosted.

Honestly, this school is amazing.
I am a freshman and I’m currently majoring in Production Arts.
This school is a fun, innovative, and professional place, I highly recommend this school for any creative and artistic people. Everyone here is very friendly, especially the mandarin teacher. They even let you choose your preferred pronouns and preferred name!
You can be yourself in this place and not get judged. I’ve made a lot of wonderful friends along the way in learning how to enhance my artistic abilities.
We absolutely love new faces so you should definitely come audition and join us!

I’m entering my senior year at this school. I was so excited to grow musically at this school, and while I have, the music department is probably the only good thing about this school. It’s run by completely incompetent people.
Update: they’ve fired the best teacher out of the blue. Just stay away from this place

My vocalist is in her third year. The staff and faculty are thoughtful, encouraging, and work with the students for their successes. The education is superior and this year the school was awarded blue ribbon status. They add new programs of interest and encourage creativity and responsibility. My daughter has unique learning challenges and the school's ability to work with us to accommodate those needs has been stellar.

Excellent learning environment! My daughter attends. She says every day how happy she is there. She feels like she is surrounded by kids who welcome her and accept her. The academics are challenging, but there is tremendous support from the teachers and staff. It has been an incredibly positive experience.

We choose this school knowing it would be better than the highschool in our area but never thought it would be so life changing. The teachers have a passion and the school has the tools to give every advantage a young artist needs. My son, for the last two years he's been there, hasn't wanted to miss a day as well which is amazing. ^_^
