I have 2 teenage daughters at Legacy and they both love it. We joined Legacy 5 years ago after our previous studio closed, and what we joined was more than a studio, it was a family! My girls have grown as dancers and as people. They have a support system at Legacy like none other. The studio is their safe place. The teachers at Legacy go above and beyond what is expected, often taking time away from their own families on extra nights and weekends. We are so grateful to have a studio we can call home, and highly recommend Legacy Studios!

I danced at Legacy Studios for almost 15 years and loved every minute of being there. Legacy is a place for all ages and all levels of dancers. What I loved most about Legacy is how family oriented it is. Even as an alumni I still have a place I can call home away from home. Each teacher has so much passion and dedication for not only dance but for helping their students as well. LSSOD is an amazing dance studio! My two daughters had the best experience. Everyone truly became family to us. The teachers are so talented. The skills they have developed there include strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, self esteem, body awareness and most importantly being a good person and team player. As a former dancer of 15 years, Legacy is the place to be! The teachers are so dedicated and hardworking for their students. My tiny dancer had an amazing first season at Legacy Studios School of Dance! We live outside of Wilmington and chose this studio for its long standing history in the community I grew up in. She cannot wait to return to dance this upcoming season.

The teachers and directors go above and beyond to get to know the students. I love that they have older dancers assist in preschool level classes, such a great sense of community!

I also have been able to return to dance through Legacy’s collaboration with Wilmington Recreation to offer classes for grown ups! So glad that I reached out to have my daughter join this studio.

My daughter has been attending the newly named Legacy Studios School of Dance for 10 years. We live outside of Wilmington and could choose a studio closer to home but we love everything about this studio! The director and teachers care so much about the students and their families as well. The environment feels like one big family. Each student is appreciated and challenged on an individual basis and also in a group setting. Each year I watch my daughter and her dance friends grow beyond my expectations. My daughter has never hesitated about going to dance class and always looks forward to being there. That means everything to me.
