Legacy Performing Arts is a wonderful place to start and continue a dance journey. Our instructors are experienced, trained and will motivate any age and level dancer. We teach foundation classes, competitive teams and adult classes. Our studio is located in the heart of Gaithersburg next to Vic Liz Music Center. Our younger dancers learn confidence and leadership skills through our studio practices and older dancers build positive and healthy work ethics, professional level skills that they can use for a life time. Our competition teams are ranked both nationally and regionally. Our in-studio choreographers received national recognition in both entertainment and choreography. Mrs. Taryca is amazing and has a special gift of connecting with students - cultivating a nurturing environment so that they make the most of their experience in class and hone their skills. I couldn’t be more grateful for this AMAZING STUDIO lead by their very own owner TARYCA who is so skilled in every type of dance genre AND ACTING & SINGING!!! She is so patient with ALL children from ALL AGES and skill levels!! She brought my daughter who has very high social anxiety, out of her shell and willing to even sing on stage! Originally we started with gymnastics when I switched from Hills gymnastics to Legacy Performing Arts and it was the best decision we ever made!! My daughter got way more individual attention and she was able to work on all the skills she needed to improve! I love this place and will never go anywhere else!

We love Legacy Performing Arts dance classes. Both my eight year old and 11 year old daughters attend classes at Legacy. One takes tap and jazz and the other takes hip-hop and tumbling. They have been going to Legacy for two years, summer camps, and dance intensives during spring break. Their favorite instructor Ms. Taryca is amazing! She has a creative approach to getting every kid in class to work hard and Spotlights each of their talents. The Spring recital left me in tears and I am forever grateful that they relocated to old town Gaithersburg which isn’t far from our home.

Mrs. Taryca and all of the other wonderful teachers do an amazing job when it comes to building self confidence from toddlers to teens. They show that they truly care, that these are not just dancers to them, it’s a dance family. You can tell they truly enjoy their jobs and the amount of patience that they have dealing with all ages is out of this world. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!
