I've only just started playing drums, and Mike has been an amazing teacher. From the moment I signed up, he was prompt, communicative, and made me feel completely at ease.

Even as a beginner, I can tell his deep knowledge and experience because he explains everything in such a clear way. And his warm and funny personality makes me look forward to each lesson.

What really stands out is how he takes the time to understand my goals and skill level, tailoring every session to what I need. Each lesson ends with actionable tips that help me make consistent progress.

The facility is brand new, beautifully designed, and clearly built with care. The soundproofing is excellent, making it a joy to practice without distractions.

All in all, Mike is a true professional. I have no doubt he can teach anyone — regardless of age or instrument.

I've been taking lessons here for a few months and highly recommend it!! I've always wanted to learn drums and have been taking lessons with Zach. Zach has been an amazing teacher. He meets you at your skill level while understanding when to introduce new techniques and lessons. Zach teaches by introducing concepts and then seeing how those concepts apply to songs that I enjoy playing. It's been a great experience, would highly recommend!!

I wanted a little extra attention and accountability for stretching my playing. I accidentally found out Zoom lessons were offered when another Fellowship of the Strings member mentioned it! I was hooked up with Zach who provided me with great personalized instruction, tailored to fit what I was interested in. He built on the skills I had already incorporated, and got me doing things and believing in myself to reach higher! The first challenge was Needle and The Damage Done and I'm extremely pleased with where he's taken me. If you're thinking about it - jump in, you won't regret it!

My daughter has asked for voice lessons for as long as I can remember. Last spring, her school drama club was putting on a musical and she really wanted to try out but was too embarrassed and nervous. We drive by LB music regularly, so I gave in and she signed up for voice lessons there. Scheduling her lesson was fairly easy, and if something comes up on her lesson day there are options to cancel or have virtual or video lessons. She started working with Jenn just after school ended and we are very happy with her experience there so far. Jenn has such a positive attitude and is full of corrections, advice and encouragement for my daughter. And she has lots of patience. She is learning about proper breathing, vocal range, and so much more. After only a few months of working Jenn, my daughter's confidence has grown and in October she sang in her first recital at LB Music. To see the change from a girl who was too afraid to sing in front of her friends to being able to get up in front of a room full of people she didn't know has been amazing to see.

LB Music School is awesome! It is very convenient to get to and very well maintained. I go to Mike Doyle for lessons and he is a true professional who learns what your goals are and moves you towards them. He is not overbearing, but has a wonderful ability to guide you in the right direction...I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get better or to begin the process of learning an instrument.
