I moved in to Lacey Park Apts for 1300 dollars a month.
In the last 3 years,
Its gone down hill,
And continues to spiral downward.
The property and grounds are circling the drain, broken Curbs,
chunks of Cement everywhere.
Pet and pot friendly.
The filth of the apartments,
The stench of pot,
And "FREE" wifi actually costs you $50 a month, hidden in your rent.
That's bait and switch, at it's finest.
Watch out for other hidden fees and
Conveniences, (heavy on the CON.)
The complex itself looks nice,
And for the most part is,quiet, and comfortable,
Until your car is damaged by casper
The unfriendly ghost,
Who nobody saw do anything.
Like most everyone,else,
I'll be here, Until i cant pay my Rent
As I pay 80% of my income to this overpriced apartment complex,
Rent is now an outrageous
1710 dollars a month for 1 bedroom.
The office staff has such a high turn over rate,
They need to rename it the
Dallas cowboys.
I've lived in worse places,
So if you're looking for a quick place to get into,
This is a good one,
However, like with any deal too good to be true,
This falls into that catagory.
UPDATE:
To be fair,
My 1710 for a 1 bedroom apt.
Includes a 75.00 late fee.(every month)
Due to the previous mentioned extremely high rent.
And the mysterious $50 fee hidden in your rent,
For "FREE" water, internet, breathing, etc.
This is the bait and switch,
Offering free,
Only to charge you on the back end.
But
With a washer and dryer in the units,
Its worth the price.
Also,maintenance is always quick to fix your problem.
And Susie, the manager has always been fair, and easy to deal with.

It saddens me to write this.. Renter beware.. that they LIE & STEAL YOUR MONEY!! I bought brand new drip pans to replace the "not new dirty ones" I moved into. I deep cleaned that apt. It was not only cleaner then when I moved in! It was ready to rent asap! Yet I just got a note they charged me for drip pans and the toilet seat? I bought the drip pans brand new from Lowe's & put in after I moved out when I did the final cleaning, they were never used!! And for the toilet seat? What was wrong with the toilet seat, NOTHING!!! I was there 5.75 months? Also read ur lease when moving out they charge made up charged not agreed upon or written in your lease!! That apt was filthy when I moved in I had to have them clean it again.

I appreciate the service I received here. They made the process of moving in easy, not stressful. Ms. Suzy and Ms. Courtney provided excellent customer service, informing me of my options and working with me to make sure moving in was secured. I’m glad to be a resident here at LPA. Inside the apartment are no issues as they made sure to document and follow the checklist. By far the best service I received in a long time. I say thank you, again!

I have nothing bad to say about these apartments. I love living here. The staff is amazing especially the manager and assistant.The operation Manager is awsome as well. The apartments are very safe and secluded from College street. Anything wrong with your apartment, maintenance is on it.

First lived there when it was like 800$ HOW IS IT 1400 starting now?!? There have been no upgrades from what I see etc. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They are taking advantage of you. The location is nice but the price with no upgrades is not.

I love the staff here. They have always treated me fairly and have been great neighbors. My building is shaded and never hot. I came here from out of state and the staff was very accommodating.

When people complain about prices raising what we need to realize is local elections have consequences so electing financially irresponsible folks 25 years in a row will cause the rent to raised not the good people of Lacey park apartments.

They find a way to enter into your apartment at least once a month or every other month for whatever reason. Fire alarms. Smoke detectors. The landlord is super nosy. She wont admit it but they'll find a way to snoop around your apartment. There was also a lot of fighting and shady behavior, especially at night. Not sure if there is any section 8 housing that takes place in any of the rented rooms, but it would not surprise me as there was a number of residents who used drugs like marijuana and smoked outside their apartments even thought their not supposed to. The unit I stayed in had a lady who was with some abusive boyfriend and they got the cops called a number of times for a wellness check due to the yelling. I am so glad I don't live here anymore. The only nice thing was that there was always parking. Gee... I wonder why?

Lacey Park Management increased our rent 2X this year, totaling over $500. The quality of this place doesn't justify such a rent increase. It's run down, old appliances, along with an old floor plan layout. We put up with all this, because it was affordable.

Raising the rent to 1900 per month, for this place, is insane.

Long story short:
My wife and I secured a new place for a lower monthly payment, less than a mile away, and moved out of the apartment, December 1st. I found most of the tenets that moved when we did, just moved a mile or two away.

My compliments to Suzie, the Manager of Lacey Park Apartments.

We now live in a much nicer apartment. We are glad that she decided to obnoxiously raise our rent. It made us move to a much nicer (and cheaper) place. Well done Suzie!
