My 9-year-old has found his happy place at Ken Dela School of Art! He looks forward to his weekly classes, where he gets to explore his love of drawing. Ken is a fantastic teacher – he allows the students to pursue their artistic interests, while gently pushing them to learn new techniques, like shading and perspective. Ken is always there to help and encourage them along the way. My son's confidence has boosted since starting classes, and he can't wait to show off his latest creations. Ken Dela School of Art feels like somewhere he'll be able to attend for years to come and continue to learn and grow as an artist.

Ken is not only a wonderful teacher but an amazing mentor to these kids! He's helped my son grow his confidence in the way he views art and putting his unique spin on what he creates, and my son always comes home with a funny story of something that happened in class, a story Ken shared or just endless praise on the fun he had in class that day! He's always eager for the week to go by so he can go to the next week's art class!

My son has always liked to draw and doodle, but Ken has helped him with art techniques that elevate his art: shadows, dimension, etc. He's great with kids and my son looks forward to his class weekly. I would highly recommend Ken to anyone who's kid loves art.

My 17-year-old's weekly group art classes with Ken have been a great experience. Ken creates a laid-back, respectful environment in which his students have the freedom to identify what they are most interested in working on and exploring. This kind of self-directed learning is ideal for creative kids, especially when they can turn to someone who is an accomplished professional artist for help and encouragement. And since Ken provides the art supplies, his students only have to bring their imagination!
