Kea's dance and life experience is so broad that you cannot parse the two apart. She brings her whole self to her work and her whole self has so much to offer everyone! I love the dancing, certainly, the process of making the show, however, is magical. The dancers are empowered to share their feelings through their medium of expression. My family has benefitted greatly from Kea and the community she has created.

Wonderful body-positive dance studio with a wide variety of classes for dancers of all ages and levels of experience. My daughter was welcomed in and from the first meeting, Kea remembered her name and greets her with enthusiasm each time she sees us. The performance is of the highest caliber I’ve ever seen for a non-professional group and had me in tears several times. The best part is, you can feel that every person on stage is having so much FUN! My daughter loves dancing here and feels like she is part of a big dance family.

What I love about Kinetic Energy Alive:

-Kea! She is amazing. Kea’s enthusiasm for dance and movement is so powerful that you feel the enthusiasm within yourself. She is so supportive, motivating and caring. I almost don’t want to tell you about her, so that we can just keep her all to ourselves. 🙂

-The Performances! We’ve seen many dance performances (from local to Broadway), but nothing compares to Kinetic Energy Alive’s performances. First off, I was at all three of the latest shows. I set out to make sure my family had seats for each show and I ended up being able to see all three. I was floored at how much I enjoyed each performance. I was never bored or just waiting for when my kid was on stage. If you haven’t seen a performance yet, you should! I walked away each time feeling uplifted and inspired and wanting more!

-Most important (in my opinion) is how my daughter feels about herself as a dancer at Kinetic Energy Alive. She is more confident as a dancer and as an individual. I have seen her work through some tough moments in and off the dance floor. The love and support from Kea and her fellow dancers is so inspiring. I just can’t say enough about the supportive environment here!

Kea is a fantastic teacher. She is not only a very talented dancer, she very profesional and deeply cares about every single person that enters her studio. Her energy is contagious!
