I never played guitar in my life. I take 30min lessons every 2 weeks from James starting at age 57. I’ve missed some lessons in a 2 year span due to some unforeseen circumstances, but I have learned a lot from James in such a short time.
I’ve enjoyed learning from James as he is patient and knows how to tailor lessons meant for the individual student.
There is so much to learn about playing the guitar - more than I ever imagined and I have great respect to those like James that make it look easy.
I couldn’t play a note when I began, but now playing a few tunes slowly but surely! Playing guitar well takes time, but I know by learning from James, I’ll get there.
I would highly recommend anyone at any age and level to give James a call and begin learning the gift of music.

James is a fantastic guitar teacher and player. I haven’t been playing for very long myself personally but he really took my playing to the next level to the point where it seems like I’ve been playing for years. James is an amazing and versatile guitar player. All guitar teachers are great players, but James is also a great teacher. I picked up a guitar for the first time a few years ago, but didn't stick with lessons long. I decided to try lessons again, and I lucked in to signing up with James. He makes it fun, plus he's patient with older, slow learners like myself.
