We relocated to rural Iowa with our 3 Mercedes wondering what next. After 25 years of having the same 5 star mechanic in San Diego we were pretty dubious about picking up from where we left off. Sure enough I lost a transmission and final drive in my now obsolete Special edition 2004 ML 350 almost exactly at 250K miles. I can afford to drive any car I want, but that ML still looks and drives like a new car and she's been the best daily driver eva and honest cars aren't being made any longer in my book ... Jack at J&J Motorsport went along with my pleas and scrounged the obsolete parts any way he could and they rebuilt her. There was a very understandable/blindsiding snafu but he took her back and straightened everything out with no qualms at all. It's great having AWD back just in time for winter now. Am gonna shop for Cayennes next spring but the ML will remain as our winter driver. Thank You and God Bless You Jack !!! You let me continue to hold onto my dream maiden ...

We had a timing belt/waterpump done on a 15' Golf. Seemed like they knew plenty about European cars, and had that project in 1 day. Very impressed. Prices were at or below dealers, depending on what dealer you called and none of those dealers could've gotten it done that quick (and I don't know if I would have trusted them anyway). One dealer I called mentioned just doing the timing belt and not the water pump or idlers...not these guys. I didn't even mention it. They quoted the ENTIRE necessary project right from the start.

I brought my 2004 e500 4Matic Mercedes here looking for help with a parasitic draw that repeatedly drained my battery. A couple days later when they got to the car they found the issue immediately. I was quoted the price for the fix with OEM parts and it was very reasonable but I choose to just grab the car with a faulty module unplugged. My final price was so good I decided to tip a shop for the first time ever.

When I first dropped my car off I talked to the owner for 30 mins about cars and then he gave me a full tour and showed me his collection. Very cool guy! If you’re into classic European cars or Formula one history this is the place to go! I highly recommend bringing your Mercedes, bmw, Audis, etc here

Wonderful shop. We bring our A4 here when there are bigger things we need done, like swapping out the clutch. Owner is very kind, and explains things thoroughly. We feel the pricing is fair and we appreciate having a shop we can trust! They even gifted our daughter a matchbox car that she loves! Would definitely recommend for any European car owner

Won't be taking my car anywhere else now. I had an issue that was intermittent for years. Was undiagnosed/misdiagnosed elsewhere. Jack and his team found the issue within hours, because they know European cars. Timely repair, fair price, and the confidence of knowing they care about these vehicles.

Issue: Stuttering/power loss while under load. Ended up being the oil separator. New separator and a desired oil change was in within 24 hours of diagnosis. I dropped in some new ignition coils and spark plugs based on their recommendation (was given a fair quote, but had desire to do part of it myself because I also love this car lol). The car is running STRONG, I'm so relieved. Bonus is that it's drinking less oil than before, if you own an Audi around this year you know what I'm talking about.
