Was looking at a car to buy from a seller about 10 minutes away. We did a test drive and liked it so I figured I’d open my maps and look for a shop to get a pre-purchase inspection.

Stumbled across Island street and called in. Jillian answered the phone and was very friendly and accommodating. She made room for us immediately and on a whim. On top of that, the fee was a fraction of what I was expecting.

This service resulted in us being able to make a better offer for the car to save some money, and had the dealer fix an issue that could’ve costed $$$ in the future. Thanks yall

Had a no-start issue, they couldn't figure it out and shotgun swapped my starter claiming it was the problem. Didn't fix the issue, as the problem reoccured within a day of pickup, and I was out $600+ figuring in all of the ubering I had to do. Car went back to their shop, and they replaced my air intake hose free of charge (which is why they get two stars instead of one). Here we are, less than a month later, and the exact same issue is occurring. I don't trust a shop that throws a dart at the wall and picks a random component to replace because it's a little bit old, as is what clearly happened here. Not going to be returning to this business.

Had my Volvo suspension break down and we pulled into island st auto . They were too busy to look at it, which is understandable since we came in from nowhere . Vehicle stayed there overnight and they were not jerks about it. The lady was very nice and we told her we would get it towed. We could not get it towed until the next morning and they did not give us a hard time. We appreciate that thank you very much.

This is a family owned business, and the people are very nice and knowledgeable. I'm presently having a major job done to my car, so I'll update later to tell you how it went!
Update: I couldn't get my car out of this place soon enough! Crazy! They really messed up my car! Buyer Beware!!!

Had my used car brought in with check engine light. Unfortunately, the entire engine had to be replaced. Island worked with my extended warranty folks to get almost all costs covered. They kept me informed each step and I had the car back, running perfectly in 5 business days as promised. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend. Jill was most helpful throughout the entire process!

I moved from New Hampshire two years ago, but before I left, I asked the people at my garage to suggest a place where I could have my car serviced. I ended up at Island Street Automotive, and have been completely satisfied each time I've taken my car there. Jill is extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and an all-around great person to be the face of this facility. Service has always been done promptly; prices are reasonable; and my car is always returned to me clean and ready to drive off the lot. I highly recommend Island Street!
