Graduated early in 2016. if my child is not doing great in her high school years i plan on putting them here as well. Great environment and the teachers work hard to make sure class is fun but not a work load unlike most high schools.

This school is way better than people make it out to be. As a person who has done in person and independent study with this school, they are both amazing. The teachers are amazing. Especially Tim. He is an all around amazing person and doesn't make you feel bad for asking a question. From day one the staff made me feel comfortable and helped me transition from my old school to decals. So don't be worried to send your kid here if they need extra help. It's a great school and they will get the help they need

I graduated from DCALS. I had struggled with my learning disability until i went to dcals. .They were very understanding with my disabilities. They were the first to believe in me and work out a plan to graduate with me . I graduated early there because i had teachers that just wanted the best for me . There are some disruptive students who don't value school however ,the classes themselves weren't difficult to get through but interesting .Most of the comments here aren't even relevant to the experience at the school.

DCALS has been the difference of night and day for my son. He used to hate going to school before transferring him here. They really do care about their students and want to see them succeed in life and be successful. Helping them to achieve the knowledge and skill.

I came to DCALS so I could graduate on time, I chose to do the online and it was going amazing at first. The online teacher Pamela Biegler just decided she didn’t like me since the first day of school and has been trying to find any way to make me fail and I could tell. In result I made sure to do my work good so she had nothing against me. Of course she found a way, she said I was finishing my classes “too fast” even though everyone around me was doing them at the same pace if not faster. When I tried to reason with her and said I would spend more time on them she decided to kick me out. I personally think that was her intention the entire time. Hopefully something is done so she can not do this to another student because it’s truly horrible.

I graduated from DCALS and it was honestly a great experience. the teachers are so nice and actually care about you . They are all very easy to talk to and are all understanding of personal circumstances.
