We have moved a lot and one of my first priorities in our new city/state is to find an auto shop - one that is competent, professional and honest. I was thrilled to find Integrity Automotive Solutions. They came highly recommended by more than one person and my own experience confirmed the endorsement.

If I had been a secret shopper they knew was coming and had arranged a good experience it couldn’t have gone better. (I’m not and they didn’t.) I called and made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived they checked me in immediately and pulled my car in within minutes. While I waited in the bright, clean reception area the compliments and gratitude for Integrity Automotive flowed from other customers.

There was a gentleman in the waiting area when I arrived waiting for a check on his recently done brakes. The problem ended up being a bad tire (that he bought elsewhere) and not brakes. He tried to pay and they told him no trouble - happy to help figure it out. He tried to pay the actual mechanic and was waved off. He was very grateful and complimentary of the business.

Then a woman came in to drop off her car and was 30 min late. She was apologetic but they were nice and chill and told her it was ok and they’d call her when it was done. She was also very appreciative and commented how much she loves “this place.”

Another man came in to drop off his car and a woman arrived to pick hers up and they started chatting about how great this place was and how highly recommended it came, etc.

Then an older woman came in to pick up her car and gave John at the reception desk a paper listing all the work her husband has had done to the vehicle. She told him that her husband usually handles their cars but he has been ill so she’s was trying to take care of things and the shop was recommended by a good friend that lived nearby. She expressed how grateful she is to have found the shop especially as it has been a difficult time with her husband’s illness.

Then I was done and on my way. A great auto shop with fantastic service, fair pricing and is aptly named “Integrity.”

The good: This branch of Integrity Automotive is well staffed and they treated me with courtesy and respect.
They patiently answered my questions in the office, which I appreciate. I asked for two things: (1) an alignment and (2) to determine why my car was experiening vibration in the steering wheel and brake pedal at highway speeds.

The alignment they completed on my vehicle seems to have been done correctly. Finally, the service was completed the same day I walked in.

The bad: They incorrectly diagnosed the root cause of the vibration issue. They had determined that the problem was caused by a seized brake caliper and recommended replacing both front calipers, rotors, hoses, and brake pads, with an estimated cost of around $1,000.
I informed them that this was surprising to me, because I had those components replaced within the last two years. Nevertheless, this information did not inspire any changes in the service they recommended.

I opted not to have the brake service completed. Later, on my own time, I determined that the root cause of the issue was a bad master cylinder, which was not letting pressure out of the brake system. Consequently, the extra pressure in the system caused the brakes to drag, especially on one side of the vehicle, which is why the shop thought that my caliper was causing the problem.

I am disappointed that the shop did not take the steps to correctly diagnose the root cause (bad master cylinder), instead of simply addressing the symptoms of the problem (a siezing brake caliper). Thankfully I was able to avoid the unnecessary expense of $1,000 of brake service by getting advice from mechanics I know personally, and doing my own research and testing at home.

Summary: The shop is certainly staffed with competent and professional people, and the work they complete is of a good quality. However, I believe they could do a better job of minimizing unnecessary expenses for their customers by putting more effort and attention into identifying the root cause of the issues that their customers' vehicles are facing.

These guys live up to their name “Integrity”. They are honest, will give you an honest quote on your vehicle prior to your auto repairs, price are very reasonable compared to other shops. Our family has been taken all our vehicles to Integrity over 3 years now. They are the best in our opinion. John who works at the front desk is always there to answer our questions and very honest. I had a part replaced. While inside an additional issue was identified. They fixed both. My car subsequently developed a problem that hadn't presented itself before, and should've been caught while addressing the previous issue. Coincidence? Maybe, but not likely. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I had them fix it. It now has several more problems. I spent thousands of dollars and have more issues than when they originally worked on it. They'll never touch my vehicle again.

Edit: You had the opportunity to correct the problem, and caused more. Fool me once, shame on you. I can't be fooled again.

Used this shop for an oil change and some regular maintenance the other day. They were quick, pleasant to work with, and reasonably priced. You really can't ask for much more from an auto shop.
