My son took his car in and clearly requested STUDDED snow tires. When he picked up the car nearly $1000 later, there were winter tires on it with NO STUDS . He pointed out the problem but they said they do not sell studded tires and would not take them back without a lot of charges for service. I don’t know how to give zero stars…. Beware!

Reading the reply, I know my son said studded tires, we had a long conversation about it before he left for the shop and he told me he was clear with this. From the reply below it is clear they did not hear studded snow tires. He drove straight home and called the shop but could not get back right away due to work commitments. We will leave the car parked and go back on Monday to return the tires, hoping the return fees are waived.

I absolutely LOVE this place and Mary is a hoot! She always makes me smile. Also incredible work and always a fair and HONEST price. They will tell you what’s wrong and what can wait if you can’t afford everything in a day. Highly recommend.

I went in for a tire that was leaking and within minutes Mary came out and had my car in the shop. The Technician was professional and courtesy and knowledgeable. Between Mary and the Technician, my tire was repaired (not replaced) and I was on the road in no time. It was a great experience and I felt valued as a customer from start to finish. Thank you!!!!

Second time using Independent Tire this year and I will never go anywhere else. Mary and her staff were so helpful when I needed a new rim and helped me find the most affordable option and worked with me to get my tire fixed ASAP. I dont know a lot about tires and wheels and they never once made me feel silly for asking questions. So nice and genuinely so helpful. Their kindness turned my bad day and situation into something that wasn't that bad at all. I would recommend over and over again!

Update (April 2024): I continue to be absolutely THRILLED with the service that I receive from Mary and the team at International Tire. She's smart, fair, honest and runs one of the best businesses I've ever dealt with. It's rare to see someone with an amazing following of loyal customers and I know why. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. I feel so very fortunate to have found her to service my car after years of terrible service from either the car dealership or other local mechanics who tried to upsell me on service items that I didn't need. I know I'll have my car a long time as long as I bring it to Mary and her crew.

Mary and her team are fantastic! The service was amazing and she quickly diagnosed my issue and repaired my brakes! I’ll only be using Independent Tire and Auto for all my repairs and service from now on!

I highly recommend Independent Tire. For one, it is a small business trying to succeed in this world. Second, it is a female-owned business running that small business. Third, Mary does an excellent job. She knows tires, is professional and personable, offers free tire rotations, and wants to make sure you walk away with a positive outcome. Her prices may be higher than others, but that's because she is a small, independent business. I feel very comfortable going there knowing she will treat me well and do a good job for me. All these things add into the value. Lastly, she seems to have a good relationship with her customers which speaks volumes and on at least one day while I was there, she was ordering lunch for her crew.

Quick and professional service! Highly recommend. Mary (and her tech) solved an alignment problem that the dealer couldn't!

The dealer installed new tires and performed an alignment but ended up leaving my steering wheel slightly off-center (it had been dead center before the new tires). I took it back to the dealer, they test drove and acknowledged the problem, went back to fix and came back and showed me the alignment report. They said everything was in spec, but the steering wheel was still off-center, and that there was nothing else they could do - that some cars just do that.

That didn't make sense to me, so I called Mary, and she said they should definitely be able to fix and if they couldn't, she wouldn't charge me.

Took the car in to Mary first thing this morning, and 30 minutes later, the tech fixed the problem (there was actually an alignment issue that had to be adjusted, even though the dealer said it was all good). Thank you, Mary and team!
