I Love Kickboxing Seekonk is truly beyond compare. It's more than just a kickboxing gym; it's my safe place. I am eternally grateful for Candice, the gym owner, who I was fortunate enough to meet on day one after stumbling upon an ad for a 6-Week Challenge on Facebook. I'll never forget the warmth of her smile as I walked in. Her positivity and genuine care inspired me to take a chance on something new, and it completely changed my life.

The community at ILKB Seekonk is nothing short of extraordinary. They're not just gym buddies; they're your biggest supporters, always standing by your side through thick and thin. Each person I've encountered at ILKB has played a role in reshaping my life, offering motivation, wisdom, and unwavering support. They've been there to lift me up when I fall, to sit with me through tears, to celebrate my victories, and to motivate me when I felt like giving up. They never fail to put a smile on my face, especially the dance breaks during class.

As I recently reflected on my life with a friend, we discussed how joining ILKB Seekonk stands out as one of the proudest moments of my life. It's not just about the physical workouts; it's about the significant improvement on my mental health, self-esteem, and overall happiness. ILKB has changed new life in ways I never imagined possible. The coaches and members have created an atmosphere where everyone can feel supported and valued.

I am endlessly grateful for the countless souls who have touched my life since becoming a member. I've had the privilege of introducing several friends to ILKB Seekonk because it's more than just a gym; it's a family—a haven where you're embraced, supported, and cheered for every step of the way.

I have been kickboxing for about 7 years. I started at ILKB North Providence, and ended up here, in Seekonk, when they closed. The instructors are amazing, motivating, and helpful. The owner, Candice, is one of a kind! She takes the time to listen and help you understand how to reach your goals. The instructors make it known that they care and that makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and new way to workout, this is it!!

I don't appreciate their deceptive marketing tactics. They offer "free" challenges to nonmembers that require the purchase of a membership...and are always available to members... so it isn't free...?...it's just another way to highlight the perks of their membership.

Here's how they do it:
They invite people in for a completely free 6 week fitness challenge, with the posted-in-writing claim that the pictures and weight loss you may have in the free challenge is such beneficial marketing for them, they can give it to you for "free".

To learn more, you must come in person...and they send a ton of these corny automated texts to try to seem personable and connected. When you get there, they spend almost an hour going over the same stuff over and over: What are your goals, why do you want them? What makes you worthy of this challenge? Are you a good fit? They play this off like they are interviewing you for the challenge...but it's all sales tactic.

They want you to be very emotional by the time they try to sell you the $500 membership buy-in deposit -- this deposit brings your price down for the 1 year membership to about $100/month...and thats what the deposit commits you to pay. You pay $500 to agree to also pay $100/mo for 12 months. That's a total commitment of about $1,700.

Dont worry, you have the option to spend a simple $425 total on just 3 months if membership, instead, if you prefer. Either way, they're looking for a minimum of $425 from you before you leave. If you say it's too expensive, they question your commitment to yourself and your goals. I mentioned budget and goals were separate things, and the owner herself told me she agrees to disagree. 😂

Don't come! Don't let them bully you! Unless you want to spend $145/month on a membership anyways, of course, in which case, definitely do come 🙂 but still don't let them bully you.

By far, the best decision I have ever made to help me mentally, emotionally and physically!!! This place is truly amazing and has become a permanent fixture in my life.
From day 1, Candice (the owner) has been a cheerleader in my court and a constant, uplifting motivator. I also can't say enough about the coaches. Always willing to help and truly care. I love this place!!! They definitely make you feel like part of a family!!!

I’m a new member of ILKB and I’ve never done kickboxing before. I can honestly say that I absolutely love it. I’ve never looked forward to going to the gym before, but I do now! It is such an amazing workout, full body, and you see and feel results happening quickly.
The owner Candice is wonderful and instructors are just as great. Positive, upbeat, energetic and lots of fun. I’m so happy I joined!

I started at ILKB very unsure if this was something I would enjoy or could handle. I’ve grown to truly love the atmosphere, members and instructors. The energy in each class is amazing and it’s a great workout! I knew nothing about throwing a punch or kick correctly. Now I can’t imagine not doing it! The owner Candice is super welcoming and she truly makes you feel special. It’s a great community of people who are all rooting for each other. If you’re hesitant to try out, just try it! You won’t regret it!!

I’ve been at ILKB Seekonk/East Providence for 4.5 years and I love it! I joined when I moved to RI and didn’t know anyone but I had a blast and met so many people! Every coach is so nice and supportive and they’ve welcomed me by name since day 1. During the classes the coaches go around and help with your form or if it looks like it’s too easy for you then they’re happy to give you a challenge and I really appreciate that. The other members are also so nice and supportive and it’s a comfortable environment where even though the class is led by an instructor, you’re free to do the exercises at your own pace. I highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to try it!
