My daughter had a great experience with the virtual Art College Portfolio Preparation course. After the AP art class at her high school was abruptly cancelled her senior year, we searched high and low for alternatives for her. There were few options that interested us around the Oklahoma City metro where we live. At iArt, she received great instruction and a lot more one-on-one time with the teacher than we were expecting. We were all thrilled with her portfolio in the end. If you’d like help putting together a portfolio and are willing to put in the hard work (it was no cakewalk), then I’d highly recommend this course.

The best thing that could have ever happened to me was finding the iArt Institute. A friend did some google searches and recommended them to me. After over a year and a half enrolled in the program, I can say that the resources, support, and sheer dedication from my professors and the director have been utterly transformative. I have honed my art skills from never having picked up a pencil, to submitting an incredibly strong architecture portfolio in which I have extreme confidence. Without my teachers at the institute, I would be nowhere near where I am today, and for that, I am eternally grateful! Words do not express how much I appreciate the institute and how strongly I would recommend it to you. Joohyun, the director, is an extraordinary, passionate, loving, supportive woman, who has in some ways become my “Art Mom.” You are in good hands with her, along with every other incredible teacher in the program. Iart was such an amazing opportunity for me. I took classes with Iart for 2 years and I was provided with internships, mentors, and a plethora of help. My art improved drastically and all the teachers are so kind and helpful. I could not recommend Iart more, it is an amazing experience.

I had a great experience with iArt Institute! Students should be prepared to devote a substantial amount of time to working each week, but it's worth it. The instructors were accommodating, responsive, and helped me improve my craft. The live video calls were huge helps and I enjoyed brainstorming and developing project ideas with the instructors. I took the AP Studio Art course and added the College Portfolio extension on. I'm not sure that I would have gotten into my current bachelor of design program without this course.

My daughter had the most AMAZING experience taking AP Studio Art 2D last year. The art teachers are phenomenal and the amount of individual attention she received far exceeded my expectations. Don't let the online format deter you. There is a reason that this is the only art school approved by the College Board to teach AP Studio classes online and it is worth every penny! It is a rigorous format but a very fun process. There are also group sessions where the students work on their art under teacher supervision and get to interact with each other. My daughter who is artistic but never had any formal art training received a 5 on her 2021 AP Studio 2D exam, 2 Scholastic Gold Keys and 4 Silver Keys for the pieces she completed in her class. Most of all, she enjoyed every minute of the process. We are very grateful to Professor Joohyun (Joanne), Brizhette, Edward and the rest of the iArt institute team for what was a life changing experience!

This program helped me get into my dream school The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The teachers were incredible at communicating, critiquing and giving advice through emails, zoom calls, and texts. I really appreciated all the help in making my portfolio so strong, I enjoyed every moment of learning from you guys! I would recommend them to anyone. 😊
