Called here to find someone to teach me and my fiancé some waltz-y moves for our first dance at our upcoming wedding, and I'm so glad I did. We worked with Debora for many sessions and it was so worth it!!! She is incredibly knowledgeable and such a pleasure to be around. Great vibes. Would recommend if you're looking for private first wedding dance lessons.

This is one of the largest (and best) ballroom dance spaces in Maryland and home to some of the largest (and friendliest) reoccurring dance parties in the USA. Their West Coast Swing on Friday nights, Mr. Mambo's dance night, and their ballroom dance parties are among the most attended social events in the country. As such, the skill levels range from brand new beginners to US Open and World Dance champions and everyone in between. Everyone always seems to have a great time, especially when they find people here who are just like them.

Hollywood has many of the areas best instructors for different dance styles and dance legends from all over the world come here throughout the year to teach special workshops at reasonable prices to the local dance community.

This place is a true Ballroom in size and as such, it is also available for wedding rentals. One of my best friends had her wedding here last year and the space, as well as the employees, were very accommodating.

This place also has a very nice and recently renovated bar with good beers (IPAs and quality beers) and wines. It's definitely a good venue to experience for a memorable event.

Very clean. Good food and drink.

Great staff, including dance instructors.

Dancers are very friendly and nice.

The music ? is absolutely terrible: inconsistent, very un-inspiring, dull and un-memorable.

Such a shame, because in this day, with the present technology that abounds, and the variety and rapidity of new music ? coming out, there is no reason for the low quality of music that seems to plague the Hollywood Ballroom, for these many years.

Maybe it's done pm purpose. I truly hope not. My two cents.

1st time there. My nephew was in town from California so I googled places to do west coast swing in the DC area. He was in heaven! Everyone was friendly and the dance lessons before the dance were easily followed. I believe that I may go back by myself as it was loads of fun!

The Thursday Tea Dances are fun and the spacious dance floor is the best! We've also enjoyed the holiday Tea Dances. Recently we enjoyed the Blue Moon Big Band dance event.
