I brought my car to have what I was told was an engine oil leak at a different shop. Once apart they told me it was a transmission leak and they had no one who could fix it there. My car was completely taken apart already and I was in it for a lot of labor. I called Hi-Tech and they saved me! Lucky for me the other shop was close by to Hi Tech and they went there and took care of it for me at the last minute. I really appreciated it. Everyone was very friendly that works there as well. Highly recommend this place!

A buddy of mine recommended this place quite a few years ago. I took our Chrysler minivan that had issues, and they rebuilt the transmission to like new condition at a very reasonable price. Recently our Subaru had a self-inflicted transmission issue due to my mistakenly draining 4 quarts of transmission fluid and driving the car a short distance. Without realizing the mistake, we had the car towed to the local West Springfield Subaru dealer for diagnosis and they told me I needed to replace the transmission for $16k ..... yes, 16 thousand dollars. They refused to add transmission fluid to bring it back to the normal level and told me I had two options: 1. replace the transmission for $16k or 2. take the car elsewhere! Recalling my experience with Hi-Tech from years ago, I called them and asked if they could help. Bill got on the phone and after I told him my story, he couldn't believe the dealer wouldn't add back the transmission fluid and then diagnose any issues. He also said they could and would repair the transmission - if repairs were necessary - for much, much less than $16k. He said it may even need no repairs with the fluid brought back to the normal level. Well, to make a long story not too much longer, we had the car towed to Hi-Tech where they added the missing fluid that very afternoon. They cleared the fault codes, test drove the car for several miles, perfomed a diagnostic check and found that everything was perfect - no further issues! We've put close to 500 miles on the car since this episode with no issues and expect many more trouble free miles. These guys are awesome - Bill and his entire staff! Fair and honest to start with and very down to earth. Highly recommend!

They are the place to go for transmissions issues. You won't pay for a thing you don't need. I cannot say enough about them. I found them to be very accommodating, friendly, honest and fair priced. I will not be going anywhere else.

I'm 37 and this was the first time I had ever brought a vehicle I owned to have someone else fix. Automatic transmission fixes are not a diy thing. I was nervous at first but once I listened to the boss man talk, I was in. He knew exactly what he was doing and I was going to be well taken care of. It's about a month later and my trucks shifting perfectly, he took the time to tell me everything they did and what upgrades went into it to eliminate the factory issues they come with. Would recommend to anyone.

First, I wish for Google to have an extra-special star for places like these! I brought them my almost 20 year old Mustang 5-speed(TR-3650) with a complicated clutch bearing shaft issue that another local shop messed up the previous year and made a repair that didn’t take. So I called Hi-Tech, scheduled a date to drop off the car and within a couple of weeks, they had it running like day 1. Their prices are fair and the work performed was flawless. Highly recommended! Think these guys are just to busy to give car a proper check. Came here when powertrain light came on in my car. 6 day later I call n they say they checked all the wiring and cant find anything wrong. Turned off check engine light n sent me on my way. Car was running great. I thought sweet! Then a couple days later it happened again. Powertrain light came back on, cars limping around. Called them up they said come back in we’ll take another look. 3 days later i call them n they say yeah we still cant find anything. Turned off my engine light n sent me on my way again. Sure enough light comes back on.. limping around everywhere. Took it somewhere else this time n they found a couple breaks in wiring n had me fixed up in a couple hrs.. not sure if high tech transmissions actually really looked at my wiring that whole time they had it but they charged me for a couple hrs diagnostic anyway.

Highly recommend. They repaired the rear end on my truck when every other shop would only replace it saving me a ton of money. Great work guys!
