We were heading to Omaha and the check engine light came on. We pulled over just in time at Stuart. Gus Automotive came up right away on a Google search with high rating and close to the interstate. They checked us out right away, they even let our family and dog hang out in the waiting room. They didn't have the parts but gave us the recommendation we can drive to our destination and then look to get it fixed up if the light comes back on. Thank you so much we are so very grateful for that peace of mind and for getting us checked out right away!

My first trip to Gus Automotive's was worth the drive (not my closest mechanic). I found them to be honest, their price is reasonable, and somehow - no one is exactly sure why, the car issue I was experiencing is resolved. They spent a solid two weeks attempting to get my car to fail, and did not charge me much for the effort. It seems my car is a bit cobbled together, with wires and hoses rerouted. However, as it has served me well for years, and it would cost me at least $10,000 to replace it with another comfortable, luxury dependable car with under 80,000 miles, I will likely be keeping it, so Gus Automotive's will be getting my future business.

There are no words to express my appreciation for the folks here. My alternator died during my cross country trip. It was my good fortune that it happened only a few miles from Gus Automotive. Great service, but beyond that, all the staff were so amazing as I navigated through being broke down with a dog in the middle of Iowa. Five stars all around. Thank you again to Ryan and all the staff, I will be forever grateful.

Ryan and his team really helped me out when my Ford Explorer blew up on a cross country road trip. He ended up diagnosing fatal flaw in a former auto shops work which resulted me recuperating $3600 towards the engine replacement for a brand new engine. I try not to be a high maintenance person and Ryan was incredibly helpful in walking me through the process of ordering a brand new engine and replacing it at his shop. I never doubted Ryan's expertise and he kept me in the loop every step in the process.

Had to be towed here when our Prius wheel started coming loose on the highway on our drive back to Maine. I saw a ton of good reviews for this place and decided this was our best bet. Ryan was super nice and he got us back on the road within an hour.

We were driving across the country and had car trouble. It turned out to be a simple fix, a battery post connector. They got us right in and we were back on the road quickly! Highly recommend! Honest and fair prices!

So fast, so fair, and so sweet! Gus's Auto was actually recommended by the dealership nearby. I'd had the A/C die and the service light come on in an unfamiliar car in July on I80. The mechanic (no idea if it was actually Gus) read the code and let me know that when I'd had the oil changed back in Ohio, they simply hadn't reset the oil indicator thing (my PhD is not in modern automotive technology). The A/C needed more Freon. We were there about thirty minutes and the cost was completely reasonable.
