Went to another shop for an alignment, they tried 3 times to get the truck aligned... unsuccessfully.
They kept telling me "the computer says it's good".
Went to an appointment at Greylock... truck was taken in on time.
The tech talked to me about the issues, test drove the truck, put it on the rack and aligned it.
Test drove the truck, then got me to drive it too.
Nailed it to perfection on the first try.
I was very impressed and happy with the service I got... and their price is the best in the area.

It looks small but I couldn't ask for a more respectful place to bring my car they are honest and stand behind their work, and they try their best to keep it as low as they can within reason, of course, thank you, you guys are amazing.

I want to preface this review that Greylock Repair Center typically offers great service, friendly atmosphere, and honesty all at a fair price. With that said there’s a reason I am rating them 3 stars and not 5. I recently booked out an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Leading up to the repair I called a few times asking when I’d get an estimate on the work they recommended be done due to a coolant leak from my turbo fittings. The estimate was never received. I noticed my coolant depleting below threshold every few hundred miles, so I continually topped it off when needed assuming it was the leak from the turbo fittings and is why I scheduled the appointment. Upon showing up to my appointment they were trying to be honest with me and explained they were unsure on the amount of labor needed and it appeared they were not confident to carry out the work needed, but still wanted to reschedule another week out. After failing to communicate any of this leading up to my appointment, I decided to go elsewhere to fix my coolant leak. Greylock Repair diagnosed that my turbo fittings were leaking coolant (a known expensive issue with the vehicle) when in reality the leak stemmed from the coolant hose connection to the reservoir. The other shop found the fittings aren’t leaking and my system was repressurized. Due to this I have lost my trust with Greylock Repair and will be wary if I am to use them in the future. All of this could’ve have been solved with better shop to customer communication leading up to my appointment or they could have been honest and recommend I go elsewhere for a repair they’re not confident or experienced in.

These guys are heroes, truly! I can’t begin to express how thankful we are for their honesty, compassion and skill.

We are from Ohio and in New England doing disaster relief (we keep the cell towers up). We were on top of Snowy Owl resort when our Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax decided not to start. A local dealer promised they could look at her first thing the next day if we could get ger there. So a zillion phone calls later we’re in a hotel and this dealer has our truck. The next morning we can’t reach them till 9:30 when they said they open at 8 and when we get a service manager on the phone he coldly told us he didn’t think he’d even look at our truck today and no way he would fix it.

Great, so back to googling, from our hotel and we find Ron and his son from Greylock. Not only was he willing to listen to our saga, and let us know he was scheduling 2 weeks out, he said bring her in, he can do it. And he did! I’m almost crying I’m so thankful people like this are still out there! You guys are amazing!

Also the bill was beyond reasonable, we are often taken advantage of pricewise when we have storm breakdowns but not here.

Wishing you all every success - from the downright cozy waiting area, the amazing nearby subshop and great company (shoot we even watched a whole move!) - you guys deserve it!

An honest mechanic exists! This literal mom and pop shop goes beyond the trifecta. They are honest, they do great work, their prices are good, and they have social skills. They do not engage in upselling, and instead only fix what actually needs fixing. Also, the most comfortable waiting area I've ever sat in. A cushioned rocking chair? I almost fell asleep. And talk about going the extra mile, they drove me to my home while they worked on my car and picked me up when it was done. 100% satisfied. Wouldn't change a thing.

Had my car serviced there this morning for the first time. Did not appreciate the poster championing the second amendment or the upcharge for credit and debit cards. Will not be returning.

Exceptional Service! Greylock Repair Center serviced my van which was overheating and making a loud scraping noise under the hood on the passenger side. I called prior to taking my vehicle to them and by the description I provided knew exactly what the issue was. It turned out to be the water pump. Honest and reasonably priced, I would definitely return for service in the future. I have kids and they made the process less stressful by accommodating us. Very nice lobby. Thank you so much!
