found out about ghms through ny music month and what a gift to find. margaret at the front desk was kind and helpful with any questions, the rental rate super affordable, and the access to quality instruments amazing. I ended up taking half hour lessons with joe and he was also great in helping me sharpen my technique. definitely will return and recommend. location is also great-- accessible to a lot of transport.

Both of my children have taken music lessons at GHMS for many years. The teachers are highly skilled, engaging and wonderful with kids. It's a very special place.

Went there for violin lessons. The teacher was nasty and told me that since I couldn't read music ....(which I told the school when I signed on for lessons after renting my own violin).... I was wasting my money and her time. She left me in tears...that was on the first lesson. I was refunded in full on the day after I returned in tears after 20 minutes of a lesson that was meant to last an hour. This was in 1999 and I hope that woman is now burning in hell. There. I said it. She ruined music for me forever
