My car had 3 problems that made driving uncomfortable and driving others made me feel self-conscious.

1. Vibration with acceleration, especially over 60mph, so much so that my smart phone would turn on the flashlight or camera, while sitting still on my dash.
2. A breaking and turning sound and sensation similar to what you might hear when an 18 wheeler would brake, duht, duht, duht, duht, .... It was concerning. I wasn't sure if something would break.
3. A tire service monitor light turned on that was related to the air pressure in the tires and prevented me from seeing how much air was in the tires.

I contacted Guy. We scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic. He said he wasn't sure what the vibration was after driving, but said the duht, duht, duht required new brakes and the tire monitors, he reset to see if that did the trick. If it didn't, he suggested replacing all 4, vs. only the two that had failed.

I checked his quote with my old mechanic where I used to live and he said it was reasonable. I scheduled service. Guy changed the brakes, said the rotor was corroded and showed me, took the tires off all the wheels to replace the monitors and then rebalanced them when he put them back on, and noticed that the balance was off and felt 80-90% sure it was the balance that was causing the vibration.

I went to pick it up. Paid. Drove home and there was no vibration, no "duht, duht, duht" and the monitors stayed off. The peace of mind and relief I got from this experience was extremely refreshing.

Guy is a 3rd generation owner. He bought the business from his grandfather. His dad worked there too. He's warm. Friendly. Local. Competent. He felt honest. I've already told 2 neighbors about him and I wanted to give him a review to continue showing my gratitude.

Best mechanic you could have for maintenance and repair. Family owned and feel like family when you go there. Even if problem needs a dealer or specialist they will advise you through everything you need!!
