Went on 6/28/2024 because I had an event. My hair is natural and I wanted a shampoo and style. I was a bit nervous and overwhelmed but the staff and students were wonderful assisting me and assuring me that they could help. The lady that took care of me, I believe her name was Catina, gave the most AMAZING SHAMPOIO. HANDS DOWN was the best one I have ever had. (You just gotta go and experience it for yourself) She slayed my style and I felt beautiful. I will be back. Thank you‼️

Fuqua don’t play! I went in to them playing rnb music, everyone laughing and having a good time working together, and only waited about 5 minutes to get my lashes done. They were done in under an hour! And that’s with the student going back and going over just a few spots. The student who did my lashes was bubbly, friendly, and personable. She made sure I was comfortable and she was extremely gentle. The staff there were also amazing hypemen letting the student know she did great. $12 for a full natural set using fans, and an amazing experience. I will absolutely be back for a fill soon!

My daughter had gotten her first flat iron ever. Marquetta was her styles, please forgive me if misspelled..She done a wonderful job and i thank her much.My baby looks so beautiful..I was given a complimentary facial for our first time visiting. The other Marquetta had gotten me all the way together!! Again so sorry if I've misspelled you too Queen's name ?Fuqua Institute of Beauty Good people.. This beauty school is the best I ever been to in my entire life. Shout out to Marquitta, Otis and all the team. You guys made my grandma 1st birthday party in Indy too memorable and I just have to say that my hair has lasted over 1 month now. I may even fly back from LA, CA to get my hair done again. Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

Came in at 9:30am for a wash & retwist for my child. They make you pay first. Took an hour to get her to the shampoo bowl. The look on my child’s face wasn’t too nice during service. Student disappeared for a while in the middle of the retwist & seemed uninterested in providing the service. She sat down in the middle of service and took her phone out & kept walking off without saying anything. 3+ hours for a wash & retwist is insane. I spent so much unnecessary time in this place it took away a lot of my time for the day. I Only came here because of a last minute cancellation back at home. But this was just another inconvenience as well. Very hard to support black folks these days. I don’t recommend…if u don’t genuinely have a passion for this profession please leave. Y’all don’t even have y’all own wigs installed properly on your own heads so I should’ve known better! They only got one star because I couldn’t post this with 0 stars
