My daughter just started, She’s two years old, which I thought was great that they would allow two-year-olds to participate. It also was the first time I’ve left her For an activity and when I got back, she was happy and laughing. I think this is a great space if you want to start your kiddos young for dance

We LOVE Fun Girl! Teachers and staff are incredible, the studio is inclusive and teaches so much more than dance. I love the focus on community, working together and being inclusive of all. This is a body positive space and doesn’t come with the downfalls of other dance studios around competitiveness.

FGD is HOME... After trying a couple places, we lucked up on Fun Girl Dance. We LOVE Chloe, Danielle, and the team at Fungirl. This year starts the third season for my 7-year-old. We love the inclusivity, affordability, and the local feel!

When looking at dance studios for our daughter, our top two criteria were body positivity and diversity. We were thrilled to find Fun Girl checks both of those boxes and so much more. Since joining a year ago, we have seen so much growth from our daughter. Confidence, better listening skills, and of course becoming a skilled dancer. The instructors at Fun Girl are amazing humans that love our babies like they are their own. They somehow manage to create an environment where the kids are having the time of their lives while also learning. The icing on the cake, the recitals are incredibly entertaining!

We feel so damn lucky that Fun Girl exists! Our daughter thrives in this space, and has gotten so comfortable in her own body, and has gained confidence from all of the support of her teachers give. We are in our second year, and I can’t imagine having these experiences anywhere else. You can tell that the goals of this dance studio are to be inclusive of everyone, and I love that the classes are filled with all different kinds of people, and that our daughter is exposed to the purest kind of acceptance of all body types and abilities in the realm of dance. There’s a remarkable and unique community that Fun Girl has cultivated, and we feel very fortunate to be part of it!

We are so happy to have found Fun Girl. We love how Chloe, and all the instructors, celebrate diversity and inclusion in a way that truly makes everyone feel welcome. We also love that FG is located in the heart of our Ypsi community. On top of that, our child has loved her experience so far and she continues to grow and develop has a dancer. Our daughter started there in kindergarten. She went to another dance place first, and didn’t like it, because she had a hard time staying focused. This place worked with her, made her feel empowered, and really supported her. The teachers really care about the students, and spend time connecting with them. This studio is a real gem!!
