After checking out some of the best acting studios around L.A. I found Danny. He offers a wealth of knowledge to actors who desire to take their craft to the next level and beyond. Danny's classes are engaging and inspiring. You get a real workout, physically, emotionally and intellectually. He focuses on the whole actor and constantly keeps the pace moving. You won't sit through a 4 hour class, you will actively participate in an 8 hour class that flies by. Danny desires to help every actor become confident and pursuing their dream. So happy to be a part of this class.

Danny has created a unique class environment that is unlike anything else in Los Angeles. We not only work on scene study, but also on techniques that strengthen our voice, movement and connection to our scene partner. Every few weeks, we are introduced to a new type of exercise and it feels like I’m unwrapping a christmas gift. What I usually find is a fun and practical tool that serves my craft.

Keeping the class size small, and the class length long (eight hours) really allows Danny to devote time an attention the each student's growth. Danny is very committed to his job as guide and he expect the same level of commitment from his students. In addition to working on our scenes and monologues on our time in between classes, we are also assigned plays to read, and films or documentaries to watch. Each of these are assigned with the intent to enrich our artistic lives.

Danny Ray and FUN Acting Studios is a safe and amazing environment to explore as an artist. He is focused on developing artists with a voice. A voice in the creative element, but specifically a voice to express your heart and the stories that you want to tell to the world.

Danny Ray is interested in making great actors, not just good actors. He guides you to analyze scripts, but allows the artist to explore the text and breathe the words into their body. FUN Acting Studios takes each student through an intense acting workout every week and I am beyond grateful to work on my voice, body, and develop my instrument in this safe space each week.

FUN Acting Studios is designed for every type of artist. I have developed immensely in my technical approach, but his guidance in living each moment truthfully is some of the best training that I have participated in over the years. I highly, HIGHLY recommend FUN Acting Studios to every artist looking to develop their craft.

I really enjoy this acting studio because it caters to all my needs as an artist. The class is 8 hours on a Saturday, but it does not feel that long because our time is always used so wisely. We do everything from voice, emotional preparation, scenes, monologues, improv exercises and more. All of it is really to help the actor be able to react truthfully in the moment and deliver a sparking performance. This is what I appreciate so much about this class, that Danny's approach is so simple, yet affective. When I personally came here for the first time I was very timid on stage and skeptical about taking another acting class, but within a few weeks I opened up and have only been improving from week to week. Also, it's really affordable, which is important to me because I'm a college student and super broke! So, all these things considered, I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is really serious about delving deeper into the craft of acting, and has the time and dedication because it truly does make a difference.

Great studio where you learn a comprehensive technique that some of the best actors coming from Britain have also used. Classes on Saturday are 8 hours and have you work on your voice, do various exercises, and employ all of this in scene work. There isn't anywhere out there that is offering this amount of detailed training and time for you to get up and work and explore. Danny is one of a kind for sure.
