My husband and I took lessons before our wedding this year. We took lessons once a week for several months and worked with Vinny. He was we amazing! The lessons were long enough, but not so long we felt overwhelmed. The studio is very clean. We met the owners and other teachers as well. Everyone was very supportive and welcoming. Vinny created a routine that was special to us for our first dance. He also helped teach us many other styles of dance so we felt comfortable dancing to anything during our reception. I'd like to go back one day and join their social plan.

Just a little over two years into dancing with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. The lessons are fantastic! I have learned so much, and I feel that I am a much more capable and confident dancer than when I started. I still have a long way to go. The Fred Astaire program is designed for success. It is the best. It offers many different ways to learn, and you have the opportunity to express yourself through dance in many ways. My wife and I are part of the World Cup Competition program. it is a blast. I would also like to say something about the Fred Astaire Instructors. I recently had the chance to see instructors from another area studio. The Fred Astaire instructors are heads and tails above the other instructors that I have witnessed. Come to Fred Astaire, you will have a ball, take with the best instructors, and yes you will learn how to dance!

I’ve always loved to dance but never really felt like I knew how to move in a coordinated way to give me confidence on the dance floor. I finally made a decision to check out Fred Astaire based on the good reviews.
Spencer was assigned to give me an exploratory dance lesson. It was so much fun I didn’t really want it to end so I thought I would at least give it a try. Spencer continued as my dance teacher and I couldn’t be more pleased. Jumping to the end of the story we now dance together in competitions.This all became possible for me because Spencer is really tuned in to the unique needs of his students. He’s fun, supportive, compassionate and has a good sense on how to individualize his teaching to reach people where they are in their abilities. Best of all, Spencer mixes fun with hard work and he will never give up on you no matter how many mistakes you might make. Well, there might be a limit; I guess I haven't hit it yet, LOL. In general, there’s a lot of laughter and camaraderie in the studio. It’s been a life changing experience for me and if anyone has been thinking about doing it but hesitating, just do it. I wish I would have started sooner.

Are these people for real?! It is hard to believe that the negative reviews are about the same school! My opinions and experiences are more in line with Jenny's. I am glad she pointed out the obvious, that money is exchanged for services because it is a business. The owner has been completely professional in every interaction I've had in the 3+ years I've been taking lessons. He seems to be a very busy man, but ALWAYS makes himself available to talk with me and has been very fair. Although I personally cannot afford all the programs available, I appreciate being invited to participate and being offered the option. I do not take this as pressure Sometimes things are very busy in the school, but I cannot imagine anyone of the staff being cross or rude. That has not been my experience at all!! The owner and the other teachers are encouraging and fun. I enjoy all of the professionals and the overall atmosphere of the school very much. I recommend this studio to everyone who has an interest in learning to ballroom dance. I love it there and I would hope all studios are as organized and professional and fun! I say great leadership and great operation!

Really enjoying our dance lessons. Everyone at the studio is welcoming. They really make you feel part of the group. With each lesson we are becoming better and better. Matt is the best instructor ever.

Great teachers, good vibes, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend you give it a try. My teacher was Grace and she always bring a positive attitude that makes the class fun.

Reading the negative reviews, was like reading my own experience for the past year. The instructors are amazing, talented, and absolutely wonderful; however the owner will say anything you want to hear when he is trying to convince you to sign up. Now, be warned, he will change everything he said in that initial meeting, he will confuse you, he will lie, and he will manipulate the situations. You will feel like that person that you had the initial meeting with is NOT the same person you are dealing with on a weekly basis. He is completely unprofessional. I have heard him numerous times discussing late payment with customers in the foyer in front of other customers. He has done it to me, when I was only a few days late. When asking him questions regarding new stipulations that he is instilling on your program, he can not answer the questions with a straight answer, he talks in circles hoping to confuse you. The program I signed up for was certainly not the same program at the end. He never told me that every time he "tests" a student-that is a lesson. There is no handbook or guideline book for you to see the program information in black and white. His rules change for the people or the circumstance at the time. My daughter absolutely adored her teacher, I am convinced he is one of the best but I could not continue to throw money at Mark like it was candy. I informed him in the very beginning my daughter was only interested in lessons-NOTHING else. That did not matter to him, he pressured and badgered my daughter constantly about additional things. Now, she is only 16 years old and frankly, does not make any financial decisions in our family. Yet, he continued the pressure on her. I could not be any unhappier with the management or the owner of the facility. He is everything (and more!) that these negative reviews state. He is fake and will convince you of whatever it is that you want to hear. When he wanted my money-he acted like my daughter was the best and most graceful dance he had ever come across, when I told him we were done with lessons, he didn't have the common decency to tell my daughter (as he walked right by her!!!) good-bye and thank her for the year we spent there. I am very anxious to show my daughter that other dance studios are not run that way. It is very sad that he preys on people and their finances.

It is a great place! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and treat you as though you were a part of a family. Can't find a better place to learn to dance!
