We have had 4 children attend this school since 2011. One has graduated and is doing well at Tampa Bay Tech(she is in honors classes). 3 currently attending, one is in the first year of the high school and has loved being in the FCA environment and we are pleased with the caliber of the teachers and the quality of work they are expecting from the students. The other two are about to finish 1st grade and 2nd grade. For them, I love the warm safe environment the teachers and staff provide to maximize learning on all fronts. My children are bi-racial so I appreciate the diversity of all the students and the accepting and supportive environment they get from that. We love the spiritual emphasis and that our children enjoy chapel and bible everyday as well as rigorous academics as well. I have never had a teacher I didn’t like, or one that wasn’t willing to help us through whatever challenges each individual child may have, and with 4 kids there over 9 years and counting we have had most of them! For us this is the perfect choice! I highly recommend.

We have been at Florida College Academy for 12 years. This place is our "home away from home". We love that the school focuses on developing respect and responsibility. Discipline issues are dealt with quietly and not publicly. Bullying is not tolerated. The highly qualified teaching staff do a fantastic job of raising the bar and helping each child reach his/her potential. My children have developed both the social and academic skills they need to be successful in high school and beyond. We are so glad we were able to be a part of this school family.

This school is one of the better schools to go to. Since they instated the high school, they have put in place courses, such as Dual Enrollment with the college, which helps ready them for college. This school has changed me for the better. When I was in public school I was kind of bad 😅, but after coming to this school I have improved. The environment is over the top. It's like a family there where everyone knows everyone. I have made so many friends at this school. I'm kind of popular. 😁The teachers are the best teaching what needs to be taught, helping those that need it (whether it's with school or if you're feeling down), and they even have fun a little bit. Each day we start with chapel where there's a speaker who teaches us lessons, then after the prayer we go into beautiful songs (2 on Friday). When I first went to the school, I didn't think much of it, I just thought of it as any other school. But boy was I wrong. Every day you are greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. I really love this school! I will definitely go to FC next year. 🤗

-Side note-
There are people on these reviews that say it's a bad school because "kids get it trouble by saying one word" or "the teachers aren't teaching right."🥱 Don't listen to them. They are either former students who were expelled because they did something where they were not following the three R's, people who don't know the rules, or just those that have nothing better to do with their life other than write bad reviews. FCA and FCA Prep (highschool) are the best. 😊

We have had children at the Florida College Academy for 6 years now. FCA has been an amazing place for our kids to learn and grow in a safe environment centered around Christian values. Our children have had small class sizes and exceptional attention from their teachers. They’ve also had opportunities to participate in several different athletic teams and extracurricular clubs. The school leadership draws on many years of experience and they have worked so hard to prepare for this school year, in the midst of the COVID-19 situation. I am fully confident in sending my kids to FCA each day.

All of my three children have attended Florida College Academy and had a great experience. The school community truly is a family to my family. My oldest two were students at FCA from kindergarten to 8th grade before attending high school elsewhere. They were very well prepared for high school and have gone on to succeed in college, graduate programs and professional work. Both of them still enjoy friendships that were developed during their years at FCA. We are fortunate that my youngest child was able to remain at Florida College Academy Prep for high school. The individualized attention she gets from this unique high school experience is helping her grow academically but also emotionally and spiritually. She has had wonderful teachers who are teaching their students so much more than math, science, English and social studies and I am very thankful to have these role models influencing her every day. I am grateful to have the opportunity for all of my children to be students at Florida College Academy.

Our children have attended this school for four years, and we are impressed each year with this great school. The teachers strive for academic success, but each student means much more to them than just a test score. Each teacher truly wants what is best for each student; academically, physically, and spiritually.

There aren’t many schools where you will find the amount of people who truly care about your child. I drive 45 mins just so my child can attend this school. I’ve read the negative reviews on here and it’s pretty surprising. No school is perfect but FCA is pretty great. We’ve been at FCA since kindergarten and have never had a problem that couldn’t be addressed and solved. Our family does not attend church with the staff or other parents and we are never treated differently. No teachers are guaranteed jobs. They are evaluated at the end of the year. We have great demographics and have never had an issue because it would not be tolerated. Everyone gets along as a family. My daughters closest friends are of different races. It’s a non-issue. The amount of time and effort each my child’s teachers have put in is pretty astounding. If your child needs extra help they will bend over backwards to help your child succeed. My daughter was diagnosed with Dyslexia based on the teachers observations and I thank GOD for them because they are the reason she’s is no longer struggling and has achieved honor roll. This school operates for your child to be ahead. She does lessons I clearly remember doing at a much higher grade level. If your child is well behaved and gives 100% in academics there is no reason they won’t succeed. That also starts at home. The only thing I would change is that parents should have mandatory volunteer hours. You always see the same families, it would be nice to have everyone invest in their child’s school. It would teach children to take ownership and pride in their school.
