My son was interested in trying out a lesson in piano. We had our first lesson with Cameron. We couldn’t have asked for a better piano instructor. He makes the lessons fun, makes us laugh, and my son can’t wait for his lesson each week. He is happy to practice at home and has become an excellent pianist in a short amount of time. If not for him I’m not sure if he would have continued let alone be this passionate about it.

Thank you Cameron for helping our family enjoy the gift of music through our son. Your passion for music and teaching is amazing. I could not recommend him more highly. My younger son will begin lessons with him in the coming months too.

Have been coming to Great Scott for over 18 months for drum lessons and piano lessons for my two sons. The experience has been fantastic and both boys are thriving and enhancing their talents in all respects. Shaun Taunton is the best drum teacher anyone could hope to have and Tyler Bechtle has my son doing so many amazing things on the piano! Ms. Sharon is a lovely person to greet us each week and the owner John is often stopping by to say hello and thank us for being customers. Highly recommend to any level of musician and age group! Awesome!

I've been taking piano here for a couple of years, and it's been great. I love having Erika as an instructor because she is so patient. As an adult, I don't get to dedicate a lot of time to practice, but she's always encouraging me. Great experience, and if you are interested in learning piano, ask for Erika.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone. If you are someone like me who values good business and decent customer service go spend your time and money somewhere else. My bf bought me piano lessons for two months on Groupon as a Valentine’s Day gift and I just got around to trying to register. I called this place two weeks ago and left a voicemail with my contact info. Never received a call back. I decided to go up to the business where there was no one at the front desk, and although an employee saw me while grabbing someone for lessons, she didn’t acknowledge I was there or tried to help me. So I waiting in the lobby for about 10 mins, saying “hello?” Down the hall, just trying to get some answers. I decided to call the number on the door two times, in which I called two weeks ago. Did the same thing, rang until it went to voicemail. There was a number and email on the white board in the office, I decided to give it a call in hopes to speak with someone to get my questions answered. I got a chance to speak to the lovely Jessica (who turned out not so lovely) who informed me she was the manager and nobody was at the desk because she works remotely. Cool. But as the conversation goes on, Jessica is very short in her responses and almost seems aggravated or annoyed that I was trying to complete my registration to start my lessons . I mentioned the fact that I called two weeks ago and didn’t receive anything back. Jessica blew it off as it was just an “oh well nobody called you back” 🚩. And when I communicated how Jessica was coming off to me, she just denied it, instead of trying to make a solution like a good manager would do. I refuse to chase a business that doesn’t want business. Poor customer service on Jessica’s part.

Great Scott Music Academy is the best music school in town. My daughter loves the classes and the teacher is so patient and friendly. Also all the people who works there are really amazing. ☺️

I have 2 kids who attend Great Scott Music Academy and they love going there. The music instructors my kids have are great and they enjoy going there every week. Great evening hours and convenient location.
