My sons Jake and Luke are learning how to play the drums with their amazing instructor Vince Caiafa. Vince is an excellent instructor! Both of my boys love working with him and they are learning so quickly. Vince is also an amazing mentor, helping to teach responsibility, respect and independence.
In addition to private lessons, the boys joined the Drum Ensemble a few weeks ago and are having a blast! They get to play drum with kids their age, which encourages community and a love for music. It also exposes them to a variety of percussion instruments, which they have really enjoyed.
If you are looking to sign your kids up for percussion instruction, I highly recommend Vince at the Evergreen Conservatory of Performing Arts!

My 10-year-old son started taking drum lessons with Vince Caiafa the past six months and results have been impressive. My son continues to be enthusiastic about attending lessons each week and even enjoys practicing. Vince can relate to kids keeping lessons fun while teaching them skills! A rare gift. Vince’s professionalism and connection with my son has transformed a phase of wanting to drum into a path of a musician.

Dude! We have a conservatory in Evergreen! A conservatory of music no less! Music is definitely something that needs to be conserved - if we don't conserve our music, it's just going to flow out into the universe and then where we going to be huh? Musicless - that's where! so everyone needs to do their part to conserve the music - just listen to a little bit here and there - not too much! My favorite band is Sonic Youth! Be sure to brush your sonic tooth everyday!

I want to give a shout out for Vince Caiafa at Evergreen Conservatory of the Performing Arts! Vince provides individual drum lessons and a great percussion group for kids. Our 9-year old son is enjoying his experience. Vince creates a musical environment for the kids that increases interest and promotes excitement for making music. I look forward to seeing what great ways Vince’s musical influence will have on our son’s musical creations.

My 13 year old daughter has been taking voice lessons with Debra Hammond and my 9 year old son takes drum lessons from Vince Caiafa since late Summer 2020. We are thrilled with our instructors as well as owner, Elena Keil. Both instructors are professional, knowledgeable and experts in their craft. Elena has been proactive and thorough in making the Conservatory a clean, safe environment during the pandemic as well - impressive. Evergreen Conservatory is a well-run organization and I would recommend them to anyone of any age and ability for a fantastic musical experience!

Joseph Armetta and Vince Caiafa are dedicated musical teachers who genuinely care about advancing the student's knowledge. Working with Joseph individually in jazz guitar lessons has greatly strengthened my understanding of jazz modes. Vince conducts ensemble class with a laid back attitude that is inviting to any skill level, all while maintaining a high level of play. If you are stuck on a plateau on your musical journey, these are great classes to take you to the next level.

Ms. Elena has such a love for piano that it pours out from her and into my 10 year old! He loves his lessons, is excited to create wish lists of music he wants to play and has now started composition with Mr. Joe as well. I could not be happier with his progress and his developing love of music and the piano. Thanks so much for this amazing studio right here in Evergreen!
