I brought my truck in with a check engine light. After trying to fix it myself and failing, I figured I'd leave it to the professionals. I dropped it off after hours and they looked at it the next morning, diagnosed the issue within a couple hours, and fixed it for less than $200. I highly recommend them these folks!

I could not recommend ET’s enough. My truck had a misfire that came and went and after installing new spark plugs, wires, and ignition coils I still couldn’t solve the problem. The folks at ET’s were able to identify a wiring problem causing the misfire and make the repair only a few hours after I dropped the truck off. The problem and repair were explained to me in detail and I was very pleased with the service they provided. I will always go here first for all my automotive repair needs.

I took a relative's 2015 Corolla to the dealer (Toyota South in Richmond) to get it diagnosed for a front-end shudder when braking. They came back with a quote for $3300 dollars to replace the front pads and rotors, steering rack, alignment, and lower control arms. Skeptical of their assessment, I decided to take the vehicle elsewhere and get a second opinion.

As a recent Berea College grad, I always heard great things from people who took their vehicles to ET's for repairs so I decided to give them a try. I visited them in-person later in the day on a Wednesday afternoon to see if I could get a diagnosis/repair scheduled and John was able to fit me in for a diagnosis the next morning. When I took the vehicle in the next day, he called me a few hours later saying a tech diagnosed the shuddering issue and that new front pads and rotors would need to be replaced. All work on the car was completed by 5PM on Thursday.

My total was $350 for all the repairs, diagnosis included. About 10x LESS than what the dealer quoted me! Could not be more thankful for their honesty and the courteous service they provided me. I will continue to recommend them to my friends in the area.

ET's is the best mechanic around. They are knowledge and thorough. They take the time to explain the problems with my vehicle in depth, provide me with the best options and alternatives (when there are alternatives available), and give me the cost breakdown in advance for everything. I am always confident that I am getting the best service for the best price. I never feel like they're are any hidden fees, surprises, or price-gouges. I'll never go anywhere else so long as I'm in Madison county.

I was recommended to these guys through family who have used them for car maintenance for over 10 yrs.
They are fair and honest and clear if they can not do something. Very knowledgeable about many types of cars and I appreciate that during business hours I could always get hold of them.
They changed out three of the four camshafts in my 2014 ProMaster as well as several other maintenance issues.
Engines is now running smooth plenty of power...
I had been told by others I needed a new engine and new transmission.
Another garage wanted to charge me $500 more than ET's charged me
for a new set of brakes.

How much is peace of mind worth? If a check engine light causes you a trauma response, you will appreciate how much it means to those of us on a fixed (low) income to find a place that will address concerns fast and make necessary repairs at a (more than ?) fair price. What a relief it is know they will help keep me and my wee SUV on the road. My daughter in Lexington -- works full time and goes to school full time -- has a car she cannot afford to replace but that needs serious attention TODAY. I made her limp it here to have them look at it. That's not just a referral. That's faith.

Took my truck here for a basic oil change. Was told the oil plug could not be removed and upon next visit would have to replace the entire oil pan since the plug was broken inside and it would eventually start leaking oil. (replacing the oil pan would have been about 500) Took it to valvoline for my next oil change and the dude walked up to me with my oil plug in his hand and said whoever did the last change had stripped out the end forcing it inside. Offered me a new plug for about $30.
