Great job from the guys who inspected my car, but the bald guy that works up front's gotta get to some anger management classes. Right after I parked my car he comes out screaming his head off about how I'm "taking up 3 spaces." First of all, unless I'm literally parked sideways that's not possible. Second of all, even after moving as close as I could to the car next to me without getting too close, there was just barely enough room to get a small car like a PT Cruiser in there. Stress is a killer, sweetie!

It is nearly impossible to find a garage that does good work and exercises clear communication these days. I suspect there was a time when Ernie's was good at this. That time seems to have passed. I went for an inspection. They had my car for 7 hours before calling me to tell me it was "all set". When I arrived to pick it up they'd put a rejection sticker on it for, wait for it .... a brake light!! No phone call to say, "Hey, yeah, you've got a brake light out. Want us to replace that so you pass your inspection?" Nope, just told me it was all set and informed me of the brake light when I went to pick it up. I was dumbfounded. It's a BRAKE LIGHT! They wanted me to plan a whole other 7-hr day so they could replace a brake light. That's all you need to know about the Ernie's that probably used to be a good joint. My guess is that Ernie has retired and slid the keys for the establishment across the table to clueless Ernie Jr. and Ernie Jr.'s incompetent wife. They have no idea what they're doing. Oh, and the parking is ridiculous. Don't bother. A. Brake. Light.

They are so personable and right to the point. The parking lot is a little crazy and hectic. Its always full to the brim. I think that is because they offer such great service, right downtown!

I had Fun interacting with John and Wayne I thank these gentlemen for my inspection which went smoothly. In the three years I’ve been in Massachusetts the quick interaction with these guys made it worthwhile, cause I’m still BITCHING about this states excise tax.

Beyond disappointed. Have been going here for the past 10 years. I called Monday, phone was answered by a rushed very rude employee who told me it was fine to bring in my car Wednesday to be looked at, hung up before gathering any of my information or telling me when i should come in. Today - 5 hours later my car was never looked at. I had to call they told me still not looked at yet and then waited until 5 mins before closing to be told my car was not looked at “is that ok?”
Communication goes a long way people. Try it.

I wanted to check some recommendations from a dealership, they advised and confirmed I needed nothing. Waiting room was fine, I enjoyed the conversations and banter of the employees, and will definitely go back for all my service now.
