For us this is an extremely important element for our special needs child. The confidence our son has gained during his time at Emler has been invaluable to his daily life and social skills building.

We love Elmer-Westwood! All the instructors are kind, fun, attentive, and make learning such a blast for the kids. We’ve been coming for almost a year and our 5 and 3 year old have made so much progress, it’s amazing! We have had a great experience since day 1. Communication, friendliness, flexibility, responsiveness, and customer service, we’d rate it all 5 stars. Everyone is intentional and invested in helping the kids become more skilled while staying safe in the water. Highly recommend this place!

This has been the best find of our year! The staff at Emler is kind, patient, professional and flexible with parents and kids. We have our 2 year old in the swim babies program and they go at his pace and never push him past what he’s comfortable with. The goal is to get kids to love swimming and stay safe while doing it. We have loved every instructor from Annie, to Alexis and now Sophie.

We’ve had all three of our kids go through Elmer’s. Started with our daughter when she was petrified of putting her face under the water. Our goal was always to have confident swimmers for safety. Our daughter has since finished and our two boys have been doing the same process and all three have become great swimmers. Definitely worth it

We love Emler!! Our son has been in lessons for 3 1/2 years and has loved every instructor. His most recent favorite is Miss Brooks. We are highly satisfied with the life saving skills they have taught our child. He has practiced boater safety and fully clothed emergency skills as well as learning to become a strong swimmer.

Our daughter loves the water and we thought swim lessons would be so easy for her. We quickly realized that she was extremely afraid of being in a pool. The number of tears and the amount of fear she had after her first group class could have filled that pool. Coach Annie and the rest of the team were super encouraging and reassured us that this was normal and that it may take a few classes for it to click for her. It didn’t.? We learned that she did better with 1-on-1 lessons so we went that route. Our daughter needed to trust Coach Annie and build her confidence, and Coach Annie has worked as slowly as was needed to build that sense of safety. Our daughter is now able to be in the pool with her floaties and can even do her classes with other instructors. Westwood Emler has been so patient with knowing her needs and adjusting their styles to help her be more confident. She’s taken a long time to get where she is and they understand that that’s okay. Our daughter used leave class sobbing and now she’s smiling and giggling. Their on-going support is noticed and very much appreciated. She’s taken small steps to get where she is but those tiny mountains make this little girl so proud of herself. One day she’ll move them!
