Terrible school, no stars would be a more appropriate rating. My nine year old cousin is currently attending but this will definitely be her last year. School starts at 8am but they don't open the doors until around 7:40am, barely giving an entire school of children 20 minutes to get settled and eat. From the moment the kids arrive until they open the doors there's absolutely NO supervision from the staff not to mention there's little once they go inside. These are young kids who need that supervision but instead they're left standing outside alone, which often times leads to fighting and rough horseplaying. The parents have to sit out and wait until one of the staff members decide their ready to open the doors. Don't bother calling to complain because no one EVER answers the phone there. We've tried reaching out to anyone who will listen but to no avail. The bottom line is no one cares about the children in a low income area and as a result, no one of importance bothers to better the school system. Even though we're transferring her to a different school, my heart still goes out to all the children whose parents aren't able to enroll them in another school district. The neglect that these kids are seeing now could have a long lasting impact on their futures. Something needs to change and until then I wouldn't recommend anyone bring their child to this retchet place.

WAR ZONE. Do not send your kids to this school. They are not safe there. The administration has left them to fend for themselves and it is a true war zone. My daughter has been assaulted multiple times and although I have notified the administration, everyday something else happens to my baby. Yesterday I had to take her to the emergency room because her leg got caught in her desk while trying to get out of the way of a fight in her class. I have contacted multiple departments:
• 911
• Bullying Hotline
• Youth Violence
• Family Violence
• District Attorney’s Office
• Juvenile Division – Durant Hill
• DISD Detective – Dan Claxton
And, still nothing has been done so ensure the kids safety. You have been warned. Fighting, verbal assault on other students and staff, weapons, and much much more. (NO EXAGGERATION) This is not the same Elisha M. Pease that was there just last year. Don't put your child in danger.

Attended Pease in 1970... It was pretty good then. The community has changed over the years because of drugs... But Pease will always be my school...
