I would recommend anyone looking to get body work done to go here! Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and I left EXTREMELY satisfied. Came in with a decent scratch and dent on my fender which was replaced along with a seamless paint match for a great price. Ed went above and beyond and took care of a dent he noticed during the process on my hood, buffed my headlights, and even vacuumed my car before I came to pick it up! 10/10 service from the whole team.

Ed was fantastic. My car looks better than new. He even fixed an old dent that was beginning to rust -- for free! And when I came to get my car it had been detailed! The wheels looked like the day I drove it off the lot - 8 years ago! Joe, his son, was very helpful, too. Both men gave me great explanations for what was happening every step of the way, worked on my behalf with the insurance company, and delivered to me a great car and right on time. In fact, Ed came in on a Sunday to let me pick it up!

I brought my car to Ed after I got hit by someone making a left turn. The right-front side of my car was pretty bashed up, and the accident knocked my wheel out of alignment and damaged the strut.

Joanne was super helpful in walking me through the claim process, getting the insurance company to respond, and setting me up with a loaner car so I could get to work.

The work Ed, Dana, and the crew did is phenomenal. Car looks better than when I bought it! The paint job looks great, a perfect color match. The fender is completely replaced, the headlights working again. I am so happy!

I'll definitely take my car back to Ed for oil changes and mechanical work, and I have already recommended Ed's to a friend who was rear-ended. Very happy customer!

I had a tailgate issue on my Ram. Went to Ed's for an estimate on a Friday. I spoke with Debbie who was incredibly helpful with the assessment. My problem was going to require a bit more than a "R&R" and I spoke to Ed as well. Got a quote email early the next week. Knowing what was involved, I recognized the quote as very reasonable and made an appointment.

Repair day came and they did everything they said they would 100% to my satisfaction. The shop fixed my tailgate, making it functional again. The tech was even willing to come out and explain to me the situation (there was previous damage unbeknownst to me that was not repaired correctly) and we discussed my options. I was treated well and respectfully. There were no shenanigans, and I got charged for the actual work done.

Let's be real, no one wants to need a body shop, but if I do, it is going to be Ed's.

Ed is great, he always makes sure to explain the repairs so even a layman can understand the auto work. The workmen are always friendly and courteous and the office staff (especially Joanne) are beyond helpful. We've had both cars worked on and it was smooth sailing both times. I especially appreciated how they took care of the insurance end of it all; they worked with the adjustors and insurance reps to get everything taken care of. Knowing that I have Ed's to go to in-case of an accident has made me a lot less afraid of dealing with auto work. It's been especially nice since we are new to the area and didn't initially know our way around town, much less the weird Massachusetts insurance requirements. We would definitely recommend Ed's to friends and family!!!

Did you ever find a place you knew was safe? Where they seem genuinely interested in helping you maintain your vehicle? And they are willing to give you local rides home and then come pick you up when the car's ready? I thought I had lost that when I moved 90 minutes from my mechanic of 25 years but I found it again at Ed's Auto.

I was beyond worry when I first drove into Ed's. The "highly rated" place I had had my oil changed in Northampton had done "something" and couldn't see me to figure out what it was for a week. Meanwhile I was using oil like crazy! I took a chance and drove in. Within 5 minutes Dana had figured out that I had a loose oil filter. He cleaned the mess up, screwed it in tight and topped off the oil. The charge? Nothing.

Since then I've been in twice more - once for an oil change and general checkup (the more expensive of the two oil change options) and again to have a burned out headlamp replaced. Each time, I've been made to feel welcome, when the oil was changed I got chauffeured , and above all I'm treated with respect, not like some mid 60's know nothing woman.

In short, I highly recommend Ed's. Dana, Ed & Joanne are a great team of people.

This is my second time coming here to get work done on my car after an accident. Let me start off by saying Debbie is the sweetest person to deal with on the phone. Ed explained what he would be doing to my car, making me feel not left in the dark. This place is the best and there staff are great to work with.

I first went to Ed's Auto Body and Repairs after someone made an illegal left turn and totally smashed my entire front end. Ed and his amazingly friendly and focused crew spent a very long time building the car back up. I have continued to take my cars there over the years and even go there for oil changes. It is an incredibly well run shop, they explain all pricing in advance, there are never surprises, things are always done on time, and Ed has always talked to me about the quality of parts I might need. The body work is exceptionally well done. Best auto repair experience ever! (And so much better prices than the dealership....)
