I have only talked directly to Dr. Barton once, but I regularly see the nurse practitioner Amanda Bradley. She is amazing! She makes me feel very comfortable and she really listens to my concerns. I truly look forward to my appointments because of her.

Found out I was pregnant and wasn’t sure how far along so I called Dr. Barton’s office and the front desk was extremely rude. I said I need to make my first prenatal appointment and before they even asked anything the rude girl said “ We don’t book appointments til you’re at least 8 weeks.” Well how am I suppose to know how far along I am if I don’t see a doctor? Thankfully I found a wonderful OB that scheduled me for the next day as soon as she heard I was pregnant. Dr. Barton herself I can’t say anything about but her staff is horrible and probably cause her to lose a ton of business. It all worked out for the best though because I absolutely love love love my current OB and wouldn’t change things at all.

My experience with Dr. Barton was great. She addressed all my concerns while I was pregnant and she made my labor experience better than my previous OB/GYN said it was going to be like. Her office time can be a bit long so if you have a hectic schedule then this office is not for you. The wait times did not bother me because I think it was worth it for a Doctor like her.

The office called my mother when I was 17 and told her I was pregnant. I was not pregnant. They should not have called her, when my number was on file primary. They mixed up my urine sample. Not to mention, Dr Barton is nice but also very dismissive. Any concerns I’ve ever addressed with her she dismisses (I assume bc I’m young and healthy). Wait times are crazy. And once I was there for 3 hours ONLY to get a birth control refill!!, watched people arrive after me go back and leave, and when I said something, the lady up front was VERY rude and said it’s not her problem, etc. This was all around 2017-18.

Her current nurse practitioner (2022) though, and I can’t remember her name now, is great. She was very kind, listened to my concerns/questions, and overall made me feel comfortable, while dr Barton makes me feel dumb. If you go to her office, see her nurse practitioner!

I had a great experience with Dr Barton at the hospital and she is a great doctor but the office staff and mostly the reception are the worst!! It is not worth the trouble dealing with this office. I work in customer service and I know people shouldn't treat people this way especially when it has to do with your health! I had to have an emergency surgery and I was needing to see the doctor/nurse practitioner before my 2 week check up for some post operation concerns and you would think I was asking for a miracle. Would not recommend. Transferring my OB needs to someone else who cares.

The office and nursing staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. I had a long wait but sometimes that can't be helped. Dr Barton was worth the wait. She's wonderful-professional, capable, and makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommend Dr Barton and staff.

Spent less than 10 minutes with me after I waited almost 2 hours. Did not really address my concerns sent me out of the office with a script. Called the office to let her know meds were making me feel “not like myself”, took them 4 days to attempt to do something. Never heard from Dr. Barton but had another script called in. Not a good way to treat patients. Will not be going back.

Dr Barton is a good dr but the wait times are crazy! I make a set apt time and I wait for like an hour and a half just to be seen. She must have a lot of walk ins that she gets to first or overbooks the office with more patients than she has time for. This has been almost an every time thing. Something needs to change.
