I definitely recommend this for a group pottery class. We had 5 in our group and Kelsey from Queen City clay as our teacher. It was her first time teaching a class and you would of thought she had been doing it for years! It was a very fun experience with fun people!

I love this place! I've been twice now. The price includes the piece you pick out, the paint colors you choose, the glaze and firing. No hidden costs. 🙂 It's so relaxing and makes for a perfect fun day with friends and family.

Thank you for the wonderful experience! The place was nice and inviting. The lady working that night was extremely helpful and never let us run out of paint.. Our 3 year old really enjoyed painting and now she has her own special cookies for Santa plate! We will definitely be back.

I came in around Christmas time asked a worker if I could bring in my own pottery making a personable hands of my husband and I. The associate said it wouldn’t be a problem I would just have to pay for the fees. I ordered these special hands brought them in the store today and the worker there said I couldn’t. I asked her if I could at least pay the fee of what they charge and paint it and then have if fired. She told me “no” I asked why she said those are the rules and the girl that gave me the information got fired. This was a special gift she could have cared less but she wouldn’t even call the manager and ask. I found her not to be empathic towards what I was trying to say or do. Just you can’t even paint my piece of pottery. Very poor customer service. She stated she has worked there since August and it’s never been allowed I didn’t appreciate how she made me feel. I understand rules but your representative told me I could and it seems your company gives wrong information which is wrong for the customer. Nobody was in your shop when I came in except her on her phone. That is this generation lazy and don’t care about people.

Do you ever do something that you didn't know you needed?
This was my experience today with DIY Pottery. It was the calm I needed. The place was inviting, welcoming, and quiet, without feeling "dead."

Whoever was working there, I didn't catch their names, whether they were the owners or the workers, were very kind and courteous. Despite being a pottery painting place, the space was clean, and it seems accommodating for many individuals.

This place could be great for a date, maybe a group outing, or a solo adventure (I recommend it!).

So happy to have a small town pottery place again! I highly recommend GT DIY pottery. The shop is beautiful and bright. The selection and prices are fabulous.
Finding quality activities to do with my children that I can afford are few and far between, that's what makes this place so special. They will have my business from here on out. Sean the owner is very friendly and personable. My son and I had a great time here. We can't wait to come back.

Took my partner on a date here and we had a wonderful time! Aside from the surprising Christian Rock playing the whole time, we had fun and enjoyed painting our choice of pottery. The music wasn't necessarily bad, and no one was unwelcoming, but worship music really does set a real specific vibe that I'm not really sure fits pottery painting.
