Both of my daughters have been taking art classes at Design Street consistently since 2017. Rachel and all the teachers they've had have cared for and encouraged them in every conceivable way. The creative growth and development that Design Street classes have fostered in our kids blows our minds.
Now that they are older teens, Rachel has become a trusted friend and sounding board in addition to being their art teacher, and our whole family has been moved by her generosity and compassion. It's wonderful to see how Design Street continues to grow and evolve. We cannot recommend it highly enough. What an amazing community resource!

My daughter takes art classes at Design Street, and Miss Rachel is amazing. My daughter thrives leading art from such a talented and gifted art teacher. Her love for art is blossoming and this is the perfect place for her to grow! Highly recommend for any elementary art student!

My daughter was denied access to classes because the teacher couldn't separate her personal feelings from her professional role. Unfortunately Rachel is not capable of professionalism and as a result she took it out on a 6 year old. That must feel really good, being less mature than a student who just wants to learn art. 🤦‍♀️

Design Street is a nice part of our community, participating with people from all over, working with student artists from the high school, offering all sorts of artistic experiences, and so on. I took a one day art class here on the subject of early impressionism. It was fun, informative, and interactive. I can't, for the life of me, remember the names of the women who taught, but they were wonderful and very helpful.
If you live nearby and are at all interested in art, it's worth checking it out.
