Dawn did our newborn photos and just wow! My husband and I are a bit awkward when it comes to taking photos...but we felt really comfortable with Dawn. Not only was she really fun to work with, but she pays so much attention to detail. I thought our home was going to be tough to take photos in, but Dawn did an amazing job moving things around and taking photos at flattering angles. She also included our dog in the photoshoot, which was great! I would highly recommend her for any type of photos. You won't be disappointed!

Dawn is an excellent photographer with a deep well of patience. We have three little children who were not interested in taking pictures, and she worked quickly, moving us from pose to pose, and engaged them so well. She captured a family newborn session for us—an intimate, vulnerable, beautiful time as a transitioning family. Dawn is an amazing photographer! She has an energy that is thrilling to work with. Her natural enthusiasm makes the photo session fast, fun and you leave feeling like you are the most wonderful person. My daughter could not stop talking about how amazing she felt. Then when she got the photos she cried because she said she didn’t know she could look so beautiful. Dawn Wessman was an incredible photographer to work with. She easily helped me feel relaxed and focused on creativity as we worked. She always helped place my hair and clothes and brought blankets and ladders to sit on and even hand warmers since our shoot was in the winter. She was flexible with my schedule as well as the timing to get the best lighting and we agreed on a vision and a location that I absolutely loved. The editing looks fantastic too and all the pictures are easy to access through her website. Though the shoot didn't take long, I have way more stunning photos to choose from than I needed! Dawn did an amazing job with my family photo shoot. She was so professional and engaging with everyone…and fun! Our digital photos came back beautifully edited and I ended up with so many beautiful family shots and portraits of all my teenagers that really showcased their unique personalities.
