Boy…. Traveling 6 hours to Wisconsin. However while going 65 mph, the under panel came loose right at stop in Rochelle il. Found Dave’s muffler and brakes right on highway 38 and 7th street. Within minutes jacked car up and replaced bolts. Good to go in like a 20 min. Alex is who we dealt with. Like I said we traveling . Could have charged us any ungodly amount. He (Alex, Dave’s son)told us yo pay whatever we think is a decent price. Nice to have great honest mechanics. Thank you Alex! Job well done all the way around.

I have been going to his shop for 2 years now. They do excellent work and are very honest. They let me know if I need something done and explain it so that I understand everything. They also have never tried to do any work that I really didn't need. I honestly feel safe in my car knowing that stand by their work. Lastly, Dave really knows his stuff.

Awesome service. I needed a decent amount of work done on my car. Brake hose, tie rods, and tires and a few other things. Alex was very helpful and kind through the process. They were able to get my car in within a few hours. I’m my opinion the prices were extremely fair!

Their service and knowledge was great! I know nothing about cars and asked them a ton of questions when I had a tire issue. They fixed everything in about 20min, got me a new tire, and explained it to me so I knew what was happening. Great business!!

I was in Dekalb when over night my car was vandalized, two holes drilled in my gas tank. 30 miles from the nearest dealership, who told me it would be at least a week before they could get to me. I called around, most places were closed till Monday. Dave's fit me in and had my car ready to go in just a few hours. The staff was friendly, and the cost was reasonable.

Simply put, Dave is a really great guy who genuinely cares and does honest, affordable work, and I recommend him highly.

I've had to bring my truck in to his shop quite a few times in the short time since I bought it unfortunately, but Dave has been terrific, and I think we've finally gotten all of the major issues resolved.

He has been extremely reasonable in what he's charged me for the work he's done, maybe even at his own expense. I think I would have spent at least twice as much anywhere else for all he did for me, and I mean that literally. I think he just likes fixing cars and making people happy.

Dave even loaned me one of his personal cars for a day when mine was at his shop and I wasn't able to share my wife's car like I had been.

If I had one suggestion, it would be better communication when the work is taking longer than expected. But then I just stop in or call, and he lets me know what's going on.

I originally ended up at Dave's shop because all the other places around that I called were too busy on a Friday morning. His shop was new to town, and there weren't many reviews on it, but I decided to give him a shot. I'm so glad I did. I don't really even consider going anywhere else now.
